Fabulous property really well thought out, breakfast brought to our room was delightful as were the staff and owners who made us feel very welcome, will definitely be coming back 👍🏻

The shower and other facilities were great. The breakfast service and double choice great. There was also an honesty bar which is nice. The view was also nice.

There was a slight odour and sticky quality as we entered. We had the impression there was a private sun lounge terrace but in reality is was a table opposite 3 other guests in their tables. So the morning isn't as tranquil as hoped for. People have loud voices, smoke and barking dogs which can set you on edge. Also everyone can look straight into you bed and kitchen so you tend to live in darkness with the curtains drawn more than us preferable.

Everything was first class. Very clean. Beautiful house and garden. Welcoming friendly staff. Superb breakfast. Great location.

Breakfast was great, loads of choice. Served in your room if required. Rooms were clean. Toiletries were excellent. The little hamper of goodies was much appreciated. Honesty bar was well stocked and the gardens were beautiful.

Bed was a little small for my husband (6ft 3) Everything else was perfect.

Such a fantastic place. It's pretty much set up to be all self service - so it feels very slick and easy to use. If you want to interact with the owners you can - but there's no obligation to which is lovely. The breakfast arrangements are really effective - fantastic quality food and a really extensive menu. The homemade granola pots are frankly spectacular - one of the best things I've ever eaten for breakfast. The biggest challenge is not eating too much - we actually had to skip lunch one day because we'd had such a fabulous breakfast! The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Great facilities and easy to get extra bits and pieces if you need them. If you're after somewhere that you can genuinely relax and disconnect from the hecticness of daily life this is a perfect location for it. It's an easy walk down into Ilfracombe - it's on a bit of a hill but nothing too steep. If we decide to come back to Ilfracombe we will definitely stay at Epchris House again.

I genuinely can't think of anything to write here. It was as close to perfect as you can get.
