Excellent location, staff go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast included in stay which is always a plus.

No parking so had to pay the £18.00 for 72 which still isn’t bad. The hotel could definitely do with some modernisation in rooms and hallways but overall Excellent stay.

The property is very outdated needs a lot of money spending on it, the carpet in our room was thread bare and you had to run the hot water in the sink for ages to get any water in the shower. The room was not nice at all, the window outside was filthy never seen a cloth in years. The owner is very grumpy in fact nasty. I lost my key and went to speak with him to offer to pay for a replacement, which I did pay for. I sat down and he spoke to me like I was a child he was abrupt and dame right horrible. I’m sure many people just leave but I thought I do the decent thing. One member of staff was lovely and is a credit to the place. she deserves a medal working for him. Never would I stay here again.

we enjoyed our stay as this was our first break away as a family , the breakfast was tasty and the location is a massive plus , owners were brilliant aswell especially lynne who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable

nothing major maybe a better mattress as on one of the two nights didn’t have a great night sleep as was a bit springy but the other night slept like babies but can’t complain as for the price everything was spot on !!!

The Walford met our needs. Good value for money. Nice breakfast. Lovely host. Very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble

Very steep stairs wouldn’t recommend for older people or people with mobility issues if you have more than 2 children. Shower head wasn’t good - water pressure was weak and the temperature was impossible to regulate, no soap provided in the bathroom or shower gel,

Amazing location everything is on your doorstep staff where friendly if a little forward.

Room was very dated the shower has no pressure and is either red hot or freezing cold no iron or hair dryer we stayed last weekend in a cheaper b&b which had much better facilities.

Would 100% stay here again, amazing landlady & landlord so welcoming. The hotel it’s self is really clean and quiet. Nice chilled vibe down stairs where you can have a drink. Can’t wait to visit again.

Everything was as expected. Good value for money. Polite staff and fast breakfast service.
