Good location if you want to be out of the town centre/sea front, but in easy walking distance. Also easy walking distance to the train station. Nicely decorated room with tv and the owner provided plenty of fresh milk for tea.

There is no breakfast and though the listing does not say there is breakfast, I had searched for b&b and this came up and for the price I assumed that it included breakfast. With no breakfast its pretty expensive for a solo traveller. You are expected to take off your shoes but the carpet was not very clean, though the rest of the room was perfectly clean. The toilet/shower room was ok for me but if you are tall or on the larger side it would be uncomfortable. Throughout the evening I had to listen to a man shouting and swearing at his computer games in the room next door which was not the relaxing evening I had paid over £100 for. Around 11, long after I had planned to be asleep, I asked the landlady to get him to stop as he is a member of the family that lives in the house. He was a bit quieter for a while, though still audible, but by 1am he was loud again. Again I asked for him to be quiet. He carried on playing till after 3. Then he went downstairs to the room below the guest room, still talking to someone, where I could clearly hear him moving around, going to the bathroom etc. I got less than 2 hours sleep. I was completely exhausted and had a course the next day which required concentration. I can see from the reviews that this has not come up before but I would clarify with the owner beforehand that this will not happen again if you are planning to stay here. The owner apologised the next morning but an apology is not enough as this is unacceptable.

The location is perfect for the railway station and for harbour, beach and shops. The landlady is friendly and helpful

Linda was lovely and very helpful. The location was excellent, really easy to get around Whitstable from there.

Unfortunately I there was a noise that woke me very early and I couldn’t get back to sleep.

Linda was so helpful and friendly and went out of her way to make the stay comfortable.

Breakfast was not booked

Cleanliness, long hairs both in shower & bed. Carpet needed vacuuming. No toiletries. Cramped bedroom. Television not working & covered in greasy fingerprints

One self-contained room within house. Easy to reach by walking from the Train station and close by to Harbour, Beach and shops. Greeting on arrival was very nice and we were made to feel at home. We will book again if staying for a short break.

could have been more coffee/milk and for the money , I thought some toiletries could have been provided, TV only showing netflix whereas I would have liked some news program

Linda couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, the room was perfect - nice and comfortable, clean and lots of TV channels. It is a short walk from central Whitstable, the harbour and the castle. I could easily have stayed a week rather than just one night. There is also a gorgeous cat, but I didn't get to stroke him :(

Good location and parking available on street. For Whitstable is wasn't bad. The room was tastefully decorated and modern. En suite nicely done but so tiny...really hard to use if you're not 5ft 3 and 6 stone soaking wet! Room is really too small for a couple for more than one night but would be ok for a single person. Nice TV but it's not in a good position (head of the bed).

Host was not in at our pre arranged time, which made us late/rushing for the wedding. She initially blamed us, before we showed her a text that she sent us the day before. Not a good start, but she did apologise. Had to remove shoes, which was an issue for me as they have pets (multiple) and I was then barefoot. Room is small, bathroom even smaller. I showered when I got home. Drink tray had no milk, so no morning drink either. We were woken up at 6am by repeated loud banging in the room below us. All in all - nice room but too small. There was a lack of attention to details and sadly, host made us feel like an inconvenience. Sorry, we won't be returning.

Linda the host was so helpful… in fact en route to Whitstable I took the wrong direction and got confused on the correct road. I then spoke to Linda who patiently guided me to the property!!

Linda was very helpful and the bed was wonderfully comfortable
