We booked this place because it was suppose to be wheelchair accessible. Unless you want a week full of lifting a 54 year old in a wheelchair up flights of stairs do not book. The bottom level the entry door is wide enough to get a wheelchair in. Then plan on using the kitchen and living room area for a bathroom. The bathroom in the bottom floor is not wide enough to fit a chair. If it was the only way to make it into the bathroom is to remove the sink and then the toilet. The host had his handy man come by the house to see what could be done and the only solution he came up with was to do just that. Remove the sink and toilet. This floor has two bedrooms so I guess everyone else was suppose to go upstairs into someone else’s room to use the bathroom or shower. We had no choice but to make this work. We ended up lifting a paralyzed 230lb man into the front door with several steps. Then into the living room area which was many more steps to get to the kitchen area. Then go up two more sections of steps to get to the 4 private bedrooms. That is where we had to go each time he needed to shower or use the rest room for anything other than a number 1. Then it was back down the steps.
When we arrived it was apparent that there was a huge outdoor party rental. Three large tents were still up with garbage overflowing outside. So day two was watching the tent rental company break down the tents and load them. Pretty place, not wheelchair accessible. Host is responsive.

We stayed here for spring break with our family of 5 and another family of 4. There was plenty of room to spread out and the rooms and bathrooms were clean and modern. The kitchen was well appointed and the host found us a chef to come cook us a few meals during our stay. He was wonderful! The house is steps from the beach- it’s very walkable and had tide pools and lots of sea glass. The sunsets each night were incredible, our kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and playing in the game room. Our only complaint was that there wasn’t air conditioning in the kitchen, only in the bedrooms. So it got a little warm in the kitchen in the evenings. But we spent most of our time outside, so it wasn’t a huge deal. We would definitely stay here again!

I booked this house well over a year ago. I wanted to treat my whole family with an unforgettable trip before my oldest grandson graduated high school. This week in puerto rico was indeed a vacation to remember! I have 2 children and their spouses and a daughter with her children. We also had a co-grandmother with us. All together, there were 17 of us for the week. The 8 older kids were able to stay in the lower set of rooms with their own kitchen.
They loved having their own space! All of the adults and the youngest grandchild were in the main house. We had plenty of space to ourselves and an amazing space to be together as well. The pool area was a highlight each morning and evening, with a chance to explore so many different nearby beaches during the day. Taking walks on the beach looking for shells and seaglass was easy from the private steps. It was amazing to see the remnants of World war II turrets on the beach right near the house!
We asked Calvin to recommend a chef while we were there and he recommended and amazing chef named Sergio. Having authentic local food made for us was an incredible experience! This was a dream of a lifetime and all of us wish we could stay longer! Thank you Calvin. The sunsets were beautiful. I will definitely recommend this house. Again and again!

The house is amazing, so much space for everyone, there were 12 of us and everyone had plenty of space. The rooms are great size and each with their own bathroom which was really nice. The views of the ocean and the horizon were perfect, in the morning you could sit outside enjoying a cup of coffee and listen to the waves and in the evening you could have a drink watching the sunset. Calvin was great at responding, we noticed a couple things when we got there and he had the someone come out right away. It was an amazing vacation and many memories were made.

The property is like the pictures. It has basic amenities. We grabbed pool and beach toys from the store. We had a great time. There was plenty of room for all of us.

Love the off the beaten path location, the beach so close and the pool. Also, that 4 bedrooms have private bathrooms. Our friends love the spacious common areas!! This is my second stay here, first with family and now with friends. The host responds quickly to our questions. Thank you, Cavin!! We will be back.

Wonderful 9 day stay at this property. We stayed here with 8 adults and 6 children of various ages over Christmas. Beautiful large property with lots of room for everyone to have their own space. Kids loved the pool and pool table and the location was perfect for beach walks and exploration of the western side of the island. Windy weather and heavy swells at this time of year limited our ability to swim out front for most of the stay but that was a seasonal issue that would not always be the case. Host was extremely fast to respond when we had questions or a few minor maintenance issues. The house has a generac whole house backup power system which worked well when we had a localized power outage in the town for several hours during our stay. Would definitely stay here again if we had a large group. Nice touches for the holiday season included a Christmas tree and holiday lights. La casa espectacular. Muy buena experiencia. La pasamos de show en familia. Súper grata sorpresa el deck de madera que da a la playa. Literalmente la playa está en el patio de la casa. Súper! No tenemos quejas, solo comentarios y sugerencias: Te dejo saber que la ducha del cuarto 1 está goteando. El control del televisor de la sala nunca apareció. El agua caliente se terminó ya para el domingo en la noche. El baño del apartamento de abajo la ducha es incómoda. En el sentido de que la ducha cae en el pecho de la persona y no viene el agua desde arriba como es de costumbre.
Pero el convenio es que nos gustaría quedarnos nuevamente allí. Tengo que decirte que los baños estaban limpios, que éxito!!!! Lo primero que hago cuando me voy a quedar en algún sitio es verificar eso. Que desagradable y repugnante encontrar un baño sucio. Allí eso no pasó. Te felicito. Eso es algo tan importante!!! Eso que no cambie.
En general te tengo que decir que tienes A como anfitrión. Gracias por contestar siempre y tan rápido. Otro aspecto que nos encantó!

Overall, my grandkids enjoyed the pool and playing around. The house was spacious and accommodating. No trouble reaching the place and host responded rapidly to my texts.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The pool and beach were enjoyed. Perfect spot for a sunset. Cavin, the owner responded to our needs personally and immediately. Our 6 families had plenty of room and absolutely love it!! Having the two kitchens and five bathrooms was great. I will come back!!

This property is just beautiful. From the minute you walk in to the front of the house so the minute you exit the back of the house to where you see the whole backyard of the pool and the grill having access right to the beach. Upstairs, all of the rooms had to own AC units and mini refrigerators and their own bathrooms, which was definitely a plus I love that also had its own little living room area. Downstairs is literally your own apartment which I did not expect, but I am so happy because that accommodated my daughter and her son who is a toddler with her partner and the other bedroom, accommodated the rest of the early 30 years old. Lol. The pool was absolutely amazing to have on the property and the fact that it provided life vests for the little one which was amazing. The washer and dryer came in such a great handy. Communication with Calvin was impeccable. Respond promptly when we needed him. We had a total of 19 people including a toddler, and we still had so much room left.
Definitely recommending this home to friends and family and I’m pretty sure my daughter will be trying to book this house for her birthday celebration next year

We were a group of 7 traveling down to Puerto Rico for the first time and this home certainly didn’t disappoint! It was spacious, clean, and the amount of space/rooms was perfect. Situated along a gorgeous strip of beach was the icing on the cake!
Calvin was extremely responsive with the check-in process too.
Would definitely visit again!

The house is on a beach that is sandy and swimmable. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of seaglass on the beach. Calvin is a super host, available for anything you need when you need it. Quick to respond to every minor and major thing we needed. The house fit everyone comfortably and there were 4 families staying together (16 people total). I can not say enough about this property and its host. Everything was more than expected. Thank you Calvin!

This house and the beach in front were stunning! The rooms were beautiful and airy and the pool area was gorgeous. Luckily, we really never felt like we wanted to leave. However, the kitchen could use some restocking (limited dishes and cookware). There was an açaí bowl place down the road we liked, but not a lot in the walking vicinity. We got some yummy take out and enjoyed being on the property. The beach was just gorgeous.

The house doesn’t not have central AC, only units in the bedrooms.
We had some issues with the AC in the bedrooms. Owner was quick to help both times.

Family vacation
This property is great fir a large family. The bedrooms have their own bathroom and the 2 bedroom apartment was great. The pool area was awesome and plenty of parking. The house is in a great location close to many other beaches and towns.

Beautiful house with amazing views very comfortable. Great yard with BBQ area With ocean view. Very clean with plenty of comfortable beds & pillows made it perfect. Close to many beautiful beaches. This house was a great experience for me and my extended family. Location wise it was convenient to get to other activities. The beach right in front of the house was very nice. The host was very responsive to us with any questions or when needing recommendations. I would gladly stay here again.

Rented Costa Paraiso for my daughter's sweet 16.
We stayed here with our family and it was everything and more than expected. From the spectacular sunsets to the closeness to everything it was the perfect location. Calvin and his team were excellent hosts throughout our entire stay. We will definitely recommend this house to everyone.

Pure paradise! Highly recommend
This home was truly an oceanfront paradise & I cannot wait to come back and stay even longer. Calvin is an excellent host, very attentive checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. He was quick to respond with any questions before & during our trip, as well as give recommendations in the area. We stayed here for 4 nights…6 couples, and the house was ideal for 12 people. Everyone had enough space & privacy with their own bedrooms & bathrooms. The outdoor space felt like we were at our own private resort with our own private sandy beach. The ocean breeze & sound of the waves was so peaceful. The house is clean, spacious & has everything you need! We didn’t even want to venture out as the backyard was pure paradise! This property is even more beautiful in person! I highly recommend this property! Our only regret is not staying here the full week! Thank you Calvin for sharing your beautiful home!

Paradise Location
We had an excellent time here! We had a larger group but the home was more than comfortable for everyone. The host was quick to respond with any questions and made the process seamless. The house’s location is truly unbeatable and being steps from the ocean made the whole trip well worth it.

Beautiful house
We stayed here for a week with a total of 9 people/family members. The location is amazing, beautiful beach with a view. The house was the perfect setting for a multi family vacation home. We stayed here the week the power went out on the island. But honestly, it didn’t make our trip any less fun. We were very fortunate to have access to a generator. Calvin the host was helpful, informative and prompt. Check in was effortless. I only hope to be able to be lucky to come back to the island and gave another chance to stay in this home.

Absolutely amazing!
We had such a wonderful stay at Costa Paraiso! The property is beautiful and comfortable and so well equipped for families. We really appreciated the life jackets on site for the kids to use while swimming. The game room downstairs was great fun. We were not expecting to essentially have our own private beach. Calvin was so helpful and responsive with any questions. We would highly recommend this property and can’t wait to come back!

Great Location; Run-down, Damaged & Dirty House
Amazing location. BUT no hot or cold running water available anywhere in the house for 15 hours - and no apology or taking of responsibility. (It wasn't the host's fault, you see, and we are just a bunch of complainers.) Noisy, invasive construction work being performed on the premises. Inadequate supplies for six guests. Damaged furniture, broken faucet and missing drawer and window handles, chipped dishes, burnt pots and pans. Stained upholstery, rusted furniture, filthy walls.

Family Vacation
We had an amazing family vacation at this property! The house was everything that the photos show and more. The property is beautiful and right on the beach. We had a chef cooked meal that was awesome and more food than we could eat. Calvin was an excellent host! We reached out to him with questions several times and he responded immediately. Fabulous Property
If you’re looking for a beautiful private property with a lot of space and even more to do, Costa Paraíso is the perfect choice. My husband and I celebrated our small, intimate, wedding here with out friends and family this past week, and not only was it beautiful but also had so much space and had something for everyone. Calvin was EXTREMELY helpful and responded quickly to any question or need I had during my stay, as well as in the months leading up to our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone who goes to Puerto Rico and would definitely consider staying again, if we go back some day!
