It was friendly, quite the garden was a nice place to relax .the breakfast was really nice and included in the price. It was about a 15-minute walk from town.

wifi is a bit slow

The owners of the guesthouse are very kind, they helped me and my friend arrange activities on both days of our stay and we sat down for a meal with the whole family on one of our nights. Nice to relax in a hammock in the garden, location is good it's a 15-20 minute walk back from Moyogalpa which is safe even at night.

Unfortunately we hardly slept due to the heat and poor ventilation in the room. I'm not too fussy about this as have been travelling for weeks in Central America with no AC, but the room was stifling. It would heat up during the day when temps reach 33 or higher, and then the windows were so small and only on one wall so the room just didn't cool down at night. One standing fan was provided which wasn't enough. On the second night we slept with the door wide open just for some air. This was in one of the twin rooms, maybe some others were better ventilated but I couldn't say.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Outside sitting area was nice

Location was far from the town. There is a mini store about a block away but limited in supplies. Had to book my day tour with someone else. Also i was bit on the ankle by a dog from the property. I was only offered alcohol. No wifi on property.

Far away from Moyogalpa, not optimal if you don't have a vehicle. They didn't know we we're coming so weren't prepared but they did their best to make up for that.

Lovely family, ended up eating breakfast and dinner there every day. About a 25 minutes walk or short tuk tuk ride from the ferry, sure they'd pick you up if you gave them a time. They gave me a lift to the ferry when I left and fixed me up with a good scooter rental who dropped the scooter off and took me back to Sophie House when I returned it. Nice garden with hammocks and chairs and they paired me with a great guide, Lazaro, for hiking Concepción.

There is a beautiful garden in front of the house with some hammocks and chairs to relax. The hosts were very friendly and made us an amazing Nicaraguan dinner for a small extra fee. Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back if we end up staying in the area again. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in since I’ve gotten to Central America as well! Great place to stay if you’re looking for a more local home stay experience on the island!

Beautiful family house 1,5km from the Port (20 min walk or you can take a tuktuk) The lovely family who is really, really helpful (the daughter speaks a little English) they helped us book a tour to the volcano for the next morning when we arrived at 6pm and rent a scooter to visit the island the day after. The beds have mosquitoe nets. Dinner is possible in the house. The included breakfast is very good. It was different the two days, always with an excellent coffee. (and they even served it at 5 am so that we could eat before the guide for the volcano tour arrived at 5:30)

You live in the house (the room has a private access outside), so you can hear the family talking during the day. The place is very quiet at night, though.
