We absolutely loved this house! It was clean and the big windows and beautiful porch were so nice to enjoy the lake. The fishing off the dock and bank were fantastic! We did rent a boat and that was necessary for our group. The backyard was so enjoy and the kitchen had just about everything

Our group was 6 adults and 3 kids. The house was perfect size for our group. We loved how much seating was available especially with the patio dining table and outdoor couch/chairs. The home is beautifully decorated and is on a very large lot with lots of room for the kiddos to play. I highly recommend this for a lake weekend with friends or family!

House is a great layout for multiple families coming together. Yard was perfect for the kids to run around. Swimming area off the dock was great. We caught several fish off the banks. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has everything we needed with nice dishes, appliances, cookware, etc. overall, great stay!

We had a blast!!! Fishing, kayaking, swimming, grilling and just relaxing. Accommodations were great. Just a few minor issues with oven operation and also miscommunication with the type of grill onsite. Other than that we enjoyed the place and family all had great time.

House was perfectly suited for all out guests. Very nice house and great communication with host. Not having a means to dock the boat each night was a draw back but we made it work. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Absolutely perfect location and property for our kids and grandkids to come together for a week. Great fishing and very close to the State Park for wonderful days out and swimming. Will certainly be looking to come here again next year!

We celebrated a friend getting married with 8 girls and we could not have asked for a more relaxing getaway. The home and upstairs apartment were absolutely perfect. It felt just like home and so comfortable. We never ran into anything we needed that we did not have. I did have to message the host a few times before arrival and always received a timely response. I hope we can continue to make this an annual trip! We would love to go back!

The home is beautifully decorated and appears to be recently renovated. It has 2 parts the main property and a 2 bedroom apartment both have very nice outdoor sitting areas. The home is furnished very well. It sits on a large lot directly on the water and has private dock for fishing. It does have a few maintenance needs and the outside areas didn't appear to be cleaned prior to our arrival and Sabrina can be difficult to contact or non-responsive at times. BUT I would stay here again and in all a VERY NICE home and was perfect for our stay!

It is a very spacious house and property. With everything you need.. Right on the lake. There is not a boat ramp on the property. But you can put in about 5mins away. We went fishing in the morning. We could dock by the house and come eat lunch then go back out. Very convenient.. Without loading and unloading the boat. The owners are very accommodating. We will be back next year. Loved this property

Please note that within the first hour of arrival I stepped off is near invisible drop off and wound up with a broken arm that is scheduled for surgery on Thursday the 20th. Please note that other than the numerous steps around house this house was clean and spacious. Because of the fall and injury I would like to settle this amicably so please call me as soon as possible.

My family had a very nice time at this rental. The weather didn't cooperate to allow us to enjoy the backyard for very long, but I can see this would be a great place to stay int he summer time.
A couple of suggestions to improve the experience is to repair the main house hall bathroom so that the door locks. It was just my family with me, so it didn't matter as much for us. Also, some of the pots and pans are in bad shape, the non stick coating completely scratched up.
All in all, I would consider renting this location again.

Booked the property for a family NYE get-together and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Immaculate, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was the best-equipped of any vacation rental I've ever visited. Thanks for having us and look forward to returning!

Water was close enough, outside patio was great for drinks and hanging out. Lake was great for jett skiing and boating. Over all a great location. Only thing there ant no close by docking location.

The location and property were beautiful. The home is minutes from Tawakoni State Park and our grandkids loved the swimming beach at the park. They also made great use of the kayaks at the property each afternoon.
The home was well furnished and nicely updated. There was ample room for our party in the main house and the upstairs casita was an enjoyable, quiet getaway. The kitchen and family room are open concept which was great during meals.
The only drawbacks were the roads getting to the property were very rough and dining out was further than we anticipated with limited selections. We realize the property owner has no control over these issues but wanted to give an informative review.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and time with our family.

Relaxing Getaway
Was a great place for our annual trip. As the kids get older, the more space they need. House had a great layout and plenty of rooms for us all to sleep comfortably. Great indoor and outdoor spaces for visiting and game times. Lake was low but still had a fun time exploring.

Best Family Trip Ever
Our stay at Lago Vista was exceptional! This was our annual family guys' trip, so the anticipation of activity during our stay runs high. With a couple acres accessible, we maximized the grounds by fishing, swimming, throwing the football around, playing cornhole, kayaking and chipping plastic golf balls beyond the trees toward the lake. As for the time spent inside, the bedrooms were spacious, relaxing and provided each person a sound night of sleep. While only one kitchen was used, just knowing a second kitchen in the Casita was available for additional food and beverages was a nice bonus. We are already looking forward to booking another trip in 2023.

Room for the whole family!
We booked the main house and the apartment and it was perfect for our group of 7 adults, two babies and one 5 year old! Caught lots of fish! Loved having access to the kayaks and a small shoreline perfect for the littles. My only suggestion would be that having a covering over the deck would be game changing! Also the guest apartment did not have any drawers or closets/hangers to store clothes and I like to get settled into places. But that's nit picking! The weather and water was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Wedding weekend
This lakeside retreat was a wonderful place to stay as we celebrated our son’s wedding at The White Sparrow in Quinlan. This property has beautiful views, was sparkling clean, and welcoming for our group. We slept beautifully and had everything we needed. It is just as pictured.

Beautiful, clean, and well-equipped home
We gathered with our large family for our 50th anniversary. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were thrilled to have king size beds for the adults. We had a wonderful, relaxed time with plenty of room to spread out inside as well as outdoor accomodations to enjoy the lake view and the night skies. Our only disappointment was the boat dock and the swimming area. We couldn't use the dock as a place to load onto the boat because there's no ladder. And the swimming area had lots of sharp rocks. Everything else was great.

Amazing property!
This was definitely a home away from home! Beautiful property right on the lake, well-stocked kitchen and baths, fun decor, and clean. We rented both the main house and the casita since we were staying with our adult children and their toddlers, so it was great to have the extra space.

Great lake getaway
This property was well set up for a group of people just wanting to relax, cook and enjoy great scenery. The whole process was very simple from check in to leaving and I will be definitely staying at this property again and so will others in my group. Thank you for a great stay!

Great place!
We had a great time! Very nice property, clean and well kept. It had everything we needed. Amazingly comfortable beds. The house is a bit far from the water to carry things to the boat and back so we brought a garden cart that made it doable. We hope to stay again sometime.

Modern Decor, Clean, Stocked Kitchen, Beautiful View from Inside thru Large Windows
6 of us ladies stayed for a goal planning weekend and we all agree that the property was perfect for us.
The owners clearly took care in decorating the space for visual aesthetic and practical comfort. They also had what we needed to plug our laptops into the TV monitors and stream via Roku. The instructions were clear on how to arrive, stay and leave. We only texted them one time for a how-to because we were unfamiliar with cordless blinds. They responded quickly to what was really a non-issue.
I highly recommend for a couples or ladies getaway trip to reconnect, relax and refresh.
