Our family’s first time visiting OBX AND using VRBO to book a location to stay. We were overwhelmingly happy with this location. We were close to everything, the house was clean and the perfect amount of space for my husband, myself and our 4 kids. The children’s toys, family games, and utility room with grill, beach chairs and toys amongst other things was an amazing added touch. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to OBX.

We were extremely disappointed in this place. I waited to review in case the owner ever followed up. He never did. The good: quiet neighborhood. The bad: -our 1st problem was the lack of giving linens. I am assuming this is an outer banks thing as they do have services that provide this. We’ve stayed at VRBO’s all over the US. All include sheets. Anyhow, we missed this information and we were “reminded” of it in his welcome letter. We are on a 3 week vacation and had already left so didn’t bring any linens with us. When we contacted the owner, he said nothing could be done. We reached out to VRBO, and they said they HATE when places don’t include linens because of this problem. He also confirmed very few places don’t include them. He scoured the listing and originally told us , there was no where in the listing saying you needed to provide your own linens and actually said we had right to cancel. I finally did find it. Buried in the middle of a paragraph nowhere with the bedding information. All that to say, don’t make our mistake and be sure and bring linens and towels - 2nd issue is this listing claims it’s a beach view. It is not, a very blatant lie. -3rd issue is the dryer was broken. We chose to stay at a VRBO solely for laundry. We contacted the owner nicely twice by message and once a call and he never responded. I had to take our wet laundry to a laundry mat 25 minutes away. When we only had two days there. So disappointing.

Great home and location. Loved the quiet neighborhood and kids riding bikes. Having a washer and dryer on-site was wonderful. Very close to Target, gas stations, Food Lion, etc. However, we did find the place dusty with crackers and band aids by some of the beds. I do wish linens were provided. That would have been very helpful. I also recommended that the pans should be replaced due to the Teflon being gone and the food sticking. Otherwise, my family enjoyed our time there and the children enjoyed the bunk room and the beach toys we were able to borrow. We would come back.

Kids-riding-bikes kind of neighborhood. Quiet, no traffic. Several blocks from beach but easy access. Central to everything.

Myself, my husband and parents stayed a weekend at the SeaSaw. It's in a quiet neighborhood with a Wawa and a Target right outside the development. The house could be much cleaner than it was. There were crumbs on tables and furniture, dust, musty/mildew smell to the house, dirty floors. My husband and I did not know how to open the lock box on the house. We've stayed at a VRBO before, but it had a digital key. I tried to call owner and his voice box was full so I couldn't leave a message for him to call back. We ended up Googling how to open lock box and were able to get in after 10 minutes. I also left a message in the VRBO app and we have yet to hear anything.

The location was good. Neighborhood was quiet. The owner was great to work with

Great house in a perfect central location. Our family of six had more than enough space and the kids loved the bunk room. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again!

We had another great stay at the Seesaw, our third year in a row. The property owner is great to work with and the house is clean and comfortable. We will be returning again next year.
