Personnel très gentil, atmosphère moderne et détendue avec cuisine partagée à l'étage, possibilité de louer des vélos. Douches et toilettes communes sur le palier mais pas problématique car seulement 2 ou 3 chambres par sanitaire, ceux ci étaient toujours disponible et propre.

Emplacement un peu éloignée de toutes les attractions majeurs de Kyoto, mais le prix était cohérent du fait de la distance.

The inside and out was beautiful. The rooms were functional and clean, the shared toilets and showers immaculate. The kitchen had a drip station you can use to make coffee, but also had everything else you might need. The cafe/common room was also styled really well, very inviting and with lots of info about the local area. A really nice place to come back to after a busy day

It wasn’t as central as we had thought. It was about 30 mins by car to the Fushimi Insari shrine, 25 mins from Sannenzaka. However there was a bus stop nearby and buses that ran regularly. We also hired bikes for 500 yen a day each so that meant getting around the immediate area was a bit quicker (15 min ride to Imperial Palace). There’s not much to fault with this place and their location they can’t change - but that’s the only thing I wish I’d considered a bit more. In saying that, it was quiet which was a bonus

The kitchen space was very nice so even when the room was a bit small you had a table to sit and work at. Also you could cook for yourself. The Aircon was very silent so it wasn’t bothersome even in a smaller room.

Such a lovely place to base yourself out of in Kyoto. Clearly a lot of time and effort has been put in to ensure a lovely visit for their guests. We appreciated all of the small touches from start to finish. Couldn’t rate the place highly enough

Very nice hotel, but quite far from subway , I recommend it if you want to explore the north of Kyoto (Toei park, arashiyama) The staff was nice and the hotel was clean, but the laundry drier is quite weak, I recommend doing your laundry elsewhere.

The dryer is too weak.

We had a fantastic time, the option to hire bikes was so helpful and we had a wonderful special Japanese breakfast which was very appreciated seeing as breakfast isn’t common in Japan! Close to a great dinner spot and also traditional Onsen.

Cute property with extremely friendly staff, nice rooms with comfy beds and good amenities, shared facilities including a kitchen were all really clean.

The blinds in the rooms were just a little too short and would let light in through the bottom.

Loved the coffee station and the kitchen space, there are books and board games for guests to use. The room was very clean and comfortable, we had a room with a shared bathroom and the shower and toilet were always very clean. The cafe downstairs is also a nice space, great coffee and French toast!

A little far from the central tourist attractions and Kyoto station but well connected by the bus route.

the localization, the only way to get to the hotel is by bus and the system is very confusing.

1)I really like the staff here. They are really nice and thoughtful. Give us recommendations of food and help us to keep our luggage. 2) The room is really cozy and clean. The mattress and pillow are so comfortable. 3) they also have a yummy breakfast set( Western and Japan traditional breakfast) you can try. We rented bikes there, enjoyed the scenery of Kyoto.

Amazing to have a choice of coffee beans to make your own drip coffee in communal kitchen. The whole hotel was very clean and attractively presented.

Breakfast was very slow! But delicious, so worth the wait.
