De eigenaren zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en helpen bij alles. Het uitzicht en het zwembad is heerlijk vertoeven. De kamers zijn ruim en basis maar prima. Beneden is een grote keuken waar je gebruik van mag maken!

De weg naar het hotel is prima voor een hoge auto of 4x4. Wij waren er in het droge seizoen.

A gorgeous view of the ocean. Also the balcony location above the tree tops provided terrific bird watching. A flock of scarlet macaws flew right over me while I was sipping the fresh brewed coffee that was provided. Owner was lovely. We are a couple in our 60’s and stayed one night - happened to be a Friday night so ate dinner at The Bamboo Room for live music just up the street. This was a convenient location and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Spiral stairs to our room were slightly inconvenient

The host was beyond helpful and made the stay all the better. My room was clean and the beds super comfortable. The views from the hotel were fantastic.

A local, cozy hotel with deck/lounging area with pool and great views over the Pacific. Clean, well-kept, good (free) wifi, great complementary breakfast, and friendly, helpful, fully bilingual staff.

good breakfast, location, and great pool! Wildlife was wonderful. we saw (and Heard!) howling monkeys every morning about 5:45am, and saw white faced monkeys. Nature was fantastic.

all was good. It was warm so some people might want air conditioning. I thought it was perfect without.

This was our second stay here, and it still managed to exceed our expectations. The location is perfect- it’s away from crowds but still a short drive or ride to all sorts of activities, the hotel itself is comprised of just a handful of rooms, it’s surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The rooms are large and especially clean and comfortable, and the pool is pristine with beach views during the day and the ability to see more stars then you could possibly count at night. The small crew that runs the place live on site and are lovely people and the best hosts you could hope for- remarkably kind and helpful, fluent in English and Spanish (possibly more!), and they seem equally willing to give you space or keep you company. Eli checked our group in and, after asking about some of our interests, ended up completely arranging two different outings for us that were highlights of our vacation. Just a really special place overall!

We loved the view from the pool area which overlooks the ocean. It is a gorgeous view and pretty much captures the essence of this property and what it has to offer. We also loved that the room had AC which helped immensely since if it didn't we would have been extremely hot and uncomfortable.

Some of the amenities didn't work as stated. There was no hot water at all during our stay and there was a mix up about whether breakfast was included or not. I thought it was but apparently it wasn't so I offered to pay extra to include breakfast to make it easier for us. Also, it isn't really close to anything and if you are on foot the way we were then it will be difficult. This is a place you should rent a car for. Ellie, the owner/manager was friendly and offered to help us with our bags when we were walking up the dirt road to the Azul. There was some communication mix up at times and I didn't always feel wholly comfortable with the owner though she was nice and thoughtful.

The view was lovely and we had a lot of privacy. It is a charming hotel that is well appointed. The host was excellent and helpful as were all the people who worked there. The breakfast was health and tasty.

The ocean view rooms which are lovely are also on the hill above the highway. At night one could hear the trucks geaaring up and down. It was only in the early morning that I heard the traffic. The hostess had recommended a garden view as it would have been a quieter room, but we are addicted to views of the ocean. So this was a decision we made and not an issue with the hotel.

I picked this location based on the picture of the pool area online. The view at the hotel was exactly as expected, beautiful and stunning. It was also a place to visit with other guest throughout the day. The hostess was very helpful in recommending activities in the area. I had one of the higher rooms that included a spacious balcony where the view of the island the ocean could be enjoyed.

The location was a little hard to find at first. If you are arriving by bus, be sure to ask for detailed instructions and maybe even a ride up the hill.

Beautiful property, amazing views, fabulous pool, fantastic hostess. Breakfast was delicious. Just a great place to relax!
