incredible location

basic facilities as to be expected in a remote cabin.

We like everything, the cabin is really cozy and comfortable, it has everything that you need: cookware, cutlery, coffee machine, small oven to bake pizzas, a really nice and brand new Weber Coal Grill, the bedrooms have their pillow, blankets, you only need to bring your own sheets and towels. This is a wonderful peaceful place, surrounded of pure nature, if you love hiking is the perfect place to stay, there are several mountains and trials nearby. The Lake’s view is amazing, it’s like being in a fairy tale, we really enjoyed having breakfast looking at it. The owner are really helpful and friendly, we met their granddaughter Olivia who brought 2 babies lambs, Oscar and Liv, with Olivia came also her lovely dog Bella, they had played together and enjoyed.

That it was very remote and the kitchen was well equipped.

Was hard to get it warm.

Very nice, helpful and generous hosts (who live close to the hytta). Absolutely stunning roundabouts - lake and mountain ten meters away and a big window with a direct view on them. You can hire a canoe or just bathe in the lake. Calm and quiet (the hytta lies far away from the busy road and lower than the little road leading to it). You have just 30 minutes by car to get to the Preikestolen, another advantage.

We missed a proper flush toilet. Water wasn't warm long enough and shower was a little wobbly. No wifi in the hytta. It might be part of the charm and many visitors will like it but it bothered us a little.

The view is amazing and wonderful. We're allowed to use their canoe, and that's great experience and good facility for the guests. We're glad to come back again in the future

A real cabin in absolutely authentic environment! There are sheeps all around. Rosters in the barn. Good parking by the barn, and a 100 meter walk down to the cabin. The cabin is by the water. Many beautiful hiking tracks nearby. Kitchen is well equipped, but only two cooking tops. Good size on the fridge. The hot water tank is small, but it's just fine as long as you are aware of it. Cozy living room/kitchen area.
