Windward- New Orleans Area Waterfront Home with Pool and Large Boat Dock
Windward est situé à Slidell, une banlieue de la Nouvelle-Orléans. Il est situé à 25 minutes du quartier français et est facilement accessible en voiture sur la I-10. La maison est une maison de quatre chambres avec deux grandes chambres et deux petites chambres. La maison dispose de trois salles de bain complètes. Il y a une piscine adjacente au quai et au bord de l'eau. La maison a été entièrement rénovée en 2019 et tout y est neuf. Mobilier design tout au long de la planification et de la réalisation professionnelles. Belles pièces d'accent et œuvre d'art. Grand salon avec télévision grand écran. Nouveaux appareils et accessoires de cuisine. Grande terrasse avec plusieurs canapés et chaises moelleuses. Beau grand chêne surplombant la terrasse offrant un grand espace pour des sièges ombragés. Le pont est à seulement 15 pieds de l'eau. Il y a un énorme quai de 60 pieds avec un accès en eau profonde par bateau. Apportez votre bateau et vos enfants et nagez, faites du ski, du poisson et du bateau dans le lac Pontchartrain. Le lac est à 3 minutes en bateau du quai. Il y a une grande terrasse qui peut accueillir huit personnes et des chaises supplémentaires pour le débordement. La maison est à 7 minutes de certaines des meilleures pêcheries du pays. Vous pouvez même pêcher juste à côté du quai dans la cour avant. Il y a une pêche phénoménale dans les Rigolets à proximité avec une incroyable pêche en eau salée et l'accès à la pêche en eau douce dans les 20 minutes en bateau.

Spent school vacation week at Windward with family, including 2 grandchildren. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children, with a pool for additional fun. Lovely setting on the canal with good proximity to New Orleans, grocery sores and Swamp Tour.

House was in a great location. Very relaxing but close to NOLA. The management company was very easy to work with and even adjusted our dates due to flights.

Everything was good, we expected the weather to be warmer so the kids could swim, however the pool wasn't clean but it was very chilly

The property is great for a big family! We enjoyed the serenity of the backyard and pool. Daily fishing and crabbing was always a hit. We would stay at this property again.

We love your place. It was both beautiful and relaxing. The neighborhood was very nice. We would definitely book again if we came back to the area. No negative comments, but with the 104 weather...an outdoor ceiling fan would be nice.

It was our first time visiting Louisiana, honestly the places we wanted to visit were at about 25 minutes distance from the house. However, the home and the back deck, plus the pool gave us a well time spent there. We enjoyed the house and the person in charge was great at communicating. There were a few things missing at the house, like toilet paper and not enough garbage bags but I contacted the person in charge and within an hour she sent someone to bring us what we needed. loved the view from the master bedroom. We had a great time.

Beautiful home and in a perfect location close to New Orleans and other touristy things to do. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Family enjoyed the deck and pool the entire vacation.

Our stay was not satisfactory. I am not sure if you visit your home but I would like to give you the following feedback.
1- Washer was connected but never fixed. Master bathroom tub cannot be used for baths due to drain not working properly. Hose doesn't work on the back patio. Pool has an excess of salt at the bottom of the pool. House water softener level is way too high because after showering or taking a bath, everyone never felt dry.
2- Floors have not been moped in a very long time. Walls are not wiped, countertops were not wiped, nothing was dusted. Your bathroom towel rugs are filthy and haven't been washed probably since you purchased them. There are stains on the drapes. If your home was renovated, it looks like it was renovated years and years ago. Your description reads newly renovated. That may need to be taken off of the description.
3- tree limbs needed to be picked up and trimmed
4- your exterminating company either needs to come or needs to be replaced with a company that will spray to kill insects/bugs. There are an infestation of roaches on your patio from the tree. There are roaches in your home and roach poop in the kitchen drawers.
5- the pool noodles left for use gave the kids rashes from flesh eating bacteria causing the kids not to go back to use the pool. The salt from the pool caused the sores to burn. The lake is not safe for swimming due to an infestation of alligators/garfish

Nice & modern home right on the water. After a few days in the city, our ladies trip crossed over to Slidell and this house met all of our needs. Swamp tours are close, easy drive up the gulf to hang out on the beaches, and old towne Slidell super cute!

We loved our stay in this home. Perfect for 3 couples, a 7 year old, two 2 year olds and a baby. The flow throughout the home worked well with plenty of space, bedrooms, and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen worked well with multiple cooks. The deck and pool were totally enjoyable. (For the toddlers we just put their life jackets on any time they went outside. We used the dock, and fished successfully ten minutes away by boat. Fresh caught fish for dinners. Location was very convenient with easy fast grocery deliveries. Quick in to New Orleans and the airport. And lots of outdoor activities available nearby. The home was perfect for the multi-generational vacation.

This was a very quaint and quiet neighborhood that fit our need for rest and relaxation. Perfect size and amenities where awesome. Would rent the place again in the future without thinking twice about it.

Although the property was beautiful and beds were comfy there was one major flaw, security. The house has some electrical issues and when reaching out to the owner she was responsive with sending out someone to take a look. When service should up they informed us that the electric issue has been going on for over a year and he informed the owner, over a year ago, that he is unable to fix this issue. THEN service installed a chain on the front door the day before we left and informed us that the code to access the house key had never been changed. Everyone who had stayed there in the past knows that code. NOT SAFE! I would not stay there again because of that safety risk.

We really enjoyed our stay for the 4th of July! Overall the house was a great size with a lot of space/bedrooms/bathrooms. The outdoor deck and pool was also great!

Mommy Vacation 2022
We had a group of 9 women on our stay. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the property so much. It is located in a very populated residential area, but we quickly made friends with the neighbors and had no issues. The property was clean and spacious. We had a few suggestions, but no complaints. Inside and outside table seating in for 6, but house is rated for 12. I suggest adding some bar stools inside and maybe another small patio set. The downstairs guest bathroom is tiny. Need more mirrors in bedrooms and throughout house as you can't really use bathroom to get ready. The pool was great, but it is a little more shaded than we would have liked. Suggest some sort of handrails for it and something to prevent slipping when exiting pool when wet. The deck is painted wood and several of us slid on it after exiting pool. It also stormed during our stay and after the pool had lots of debris the rest of our stay. Overall we loved the place and would stay again.

Beautiful location and property. Quiet neighborhood, home is right on the water, and plenty of space inside. Good spot for a family to stay when visiting New Orleans and seeing the area.

Wow!! The property was so amazing from the front to the back door and all in between. Loved the pool, loved the little flowing river, loved the interior design of the house inside and out. Very comfortable and relaxing and most importantly, the quietness of the neighborhood . OMG!! Would love to rent this beautiful home again!

Great for a Large Group.
Great property for a large group. As advertised. We’ll stay again for sure! Only thing I would change is we had a lot ladies so we could have used mirrors in the bedrooms.

Perfect house for vacation
Since the start it was smooth simple and easy process. At every step Ms Lisa was cooperative and great in communication.
Check-in was easiest part and then smile on kids face when they saw pool made it all.
Kitchen was all furnished with utensils and spices. Just needed a wine opener.

Lovely Home
This was a great trip! We spent most of our time enjoying the pool. The home is beautifully decorated and located in a very nice area with a lovely view off the back deck. Everything you need is close by. Lisa was excellent to work with -always responding quickly. Our family would certainly stay again!

Family vacation to Slidell/New Orleans
We had a great time in Slidell. Neither of our 2 families had ever been to Louisiana before. Lisa’s house was exactly as pictured, it did not disappoint. The pool off the water was an amazing amenity. We almost stayed closer to downtown New Orleans. We are glade we did not. Was nice to drive into the city when we wanted too, but not be stuck there. Thank you Lisa!

Annual Family Vacation
This property was great for our annual family vacation, the opportunity to swim and fish on the property made it a very affordable trip. My only complaint was that 2 bedrooms did not have a television, but we had a great time
