New Orleans Area Beautiful Waterfront Home 4BR with Private Boat Dock
Cypress Cove est situé à Slidell dans la banlieue de la Nouvelle-Orléans. Il est situé à 25 minutes du quartier français et est facilement accessible en voiture par la I-10. La maison est une maison de quatre chambres avec deux grandes chambres et deux chambres plus petites pour les enfants. La maison a été entièrement rénovée en 2018 et tout est neuf. Il y a un immense quai avec accès à l'eau profonde par bateau. Apportez votre bateau et vos enfants et nagez, faites du ski, du poisson et du bateau au lac Pontchartrain. Le lac est à 3 minutes en bateau du quai. Il y a une grande terrasse qui a des sièges pour huit et des chaises supplémentaires pour débordement. La maison est à 5 minutes de certaines des meilleures pêches du pays. Vous pouvez même pêcher dès le quai dans la cour avant. Il y a une pêche phénoménale dans les Rigolets à proximité avec une incroyable pêche en eau salée et l'accès à la pêche en eau douce dans les 20 minutes en bateau.

My three siblings and their spouses had a family reunion at this home. We had a wonderful time. The men fished on the canal. We visited New Orleans, which was very close. The patio was very comfortable. The home was very clean and had everything we needed.
There are 2.5 bathrooms instead of the 3 listed. But we were fine with sharing.
We will definitely use this home again.

House is amazing.. checkin was easy. House is already equipped with enough detergent to do the entire family’s laundry. Kitchen is wonderful and has everything we needed and more
Loves the lake. We spent tons of time jumping off the dock. And no sign of alligators ( my teen was worried at first, then we couldn’t get her out of it)
WiFi code hadn’t been updated, but agent contacted us immediately with the new code.
We brought our own rafts to float the lake and that was an excellent idea.
Drive to NO was easy and enjoyable
We had a horrible experience with Boatsetters. We texted and went through the number suggested and it took over 4 days to get a response.. they took out $500 and $500 deposit and never confirmed the boat availability. So we made plans for swamp tour that day… Then at midnight was told by text that the boat was available the following day, We advised him that he took too long to respond and that we had set up so other tour, bc we didn’t want to waste the day waiting on his response. He asked if we could reschedule the tour… We did them for a confirmation saying when and where to be (a few houses away) to pick up the boat…. Sure enough the boat and the owner were not home… got a text back hours later and said … sorry the boat is not available right now… any other day in July will work
I couldn’t help but think that he just Took the boat out himself
After 4 days I was refunded the money

We had a nice time at the home. The view and deck are great! Fun to fish off the deck and sit outside on the comfy patio furniture. We felt safe and slept well.

Beautiful and Relaxing Property
The home was spacious and inviting. The location on the water was perfect for relaxing and the kids loved watching the ducks and fish. The only things that would have been more helpful were TVs and dressers in all the bedrooms and a notice of when the yard guys were coming. We definitely enjoyed our stay, though, and would stay again!

Great getaway!
We had a great time, the property was everything we expected from pictures! We did have a couple of things to quit working for us but the owner was quick to send someone out to fix. Area was nice, kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming, and we all had a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous clean and serene stay
We loved the view of the waterfront and accessibility to the lake and fishing. It was a nice area 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would not hesitate to return again!

Summer Trip to Slidell
We enjoyed our stay at this house. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The location of the house was perfect for us to spend time in Slidell while still being able to visit New Orleans. We enjoyed grilling outside and fishing off the deck. Our kids enjoyed swimming and the kayak. The had all the amenities listed. Our only concern was brick steps in the backyard that lead to the deck. Two rows of the brick steps are in need of repairs. I would recommend this house to anyone that is visiting the New Orleans area.

Great weekend get away spot!
We enjoyed our stay at this Eden Isle Property. Check in was smooth and accommodations were the same as advertised. We did have several issues during our stay, like the refrigerator not keeping our food cold enough, the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms(where the bunkbeds were) did not work and we had a hard time finding the light switch for the lighting on the deck. But we let the property manager know and she sent someone out and they arrived in a timely manner. Overall, we enjoyed the 4th of July weekend with our kids and grandkids!

Beautiful property, in great neighborhood right on the lake! House was exactly as advertised, and it truly made for a great weekend in and around Slidell and New Orleans! Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the hectic of New Orleans but close enough to experience it as well.

A Relaxing Stay
My family and I thought this property was immaculate. The community was quiet and the property was relaxing. We also enjoyed watching the ducks and boats go back and forth in the canal. It was a little distance from the French Quarter, but it we didn’t mind. We thank Lisa for allowing us to rent her property.

Lovely house!
The house is just as described. The back porch is beautiful and our favorite part was sitting outside in the evenings. They have a kayak that we used, and we swam off the dock, despite the weather being a little chilly. We fit three families in the house, including 6 young children and everyone had a blast. The back yard is completely fenced in and you have to open a gate to get to the dock. This was a pleasant surprise because we had been a little worried about the kids being so close to the water.

Clean, spacious, safe and quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the kayak. We like to cook many of our meals when we travel and kitchen was great. We About 45 min drive to airport and downtown New Orleans.

Wonderful rental!!
We cam e from RI to spend some time with my son & his wife who live locally. The house was lovely. Newly remodeled, clean, waterfront! Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there so we didn't get to enjoy sitting on the deck, but it was still beautiful waking up to the water view every morning. Would definitely return here or at another rental managed by Lisa Howell.

A lovely home for our family getaway.
We stayed here recently (Dec 14-18) for a family reunion. We had 8 adults and 2 kids in our group. The house was comfortable for all of us. We did not feel like were in each other's way! We really enjoyed the Slidell area, but the house is still close enough to New Orleans for an easy visit. The weather was rainy and cool, so we did not get to enjoy the deck as much as we had hoped. I really did appreciate the owners working with us at the last minute as our previous reservation had to cancel on us at the last minute due to the home selling. In addition, we left behind a piece of jewelry, which the cleaners found, and the owner mailed back to us! I hope one day to return for chickory coffee and seafood!

Beautiful family reunion weekend on the water
We had a great time at this rental- it was so comfortable and open for our family re-union. Beds enough to fit our large extend family and kids. We were able to hang out on the dock in the afternoon and then go into town for dinner. So much fun! The house was clean and updated with all new furnishings. The host was responsive and helpful . What a great way to vacation in New Orleans! We will be back!
