The staff is super helpful and friendly. Breakfasts are great. Great value for money.

The pillow and the bed is not very comfy.

The staff here were incredible and went out of their way to accomodate as much as possible! The rooms were large for Japan and the communal area nice and cozy. Special shout out to Lawrence the resort driver for helping us out! Thank you also to the staff for really making an effort to accomodate my friends dietary requirements!

Only a few of the resorts are not as easily accessible by shuttle bus from close to the apricot pension but still possible if you plan in advance!

The overall exterior design of the accomodation is really commendable and portrays the traditional houses near the mountainous area. The room is comfortable and provides projector for your convenience. There are public living n dining area with complimentary tea and coffee provided.

The room n toilet design are a little old but still considered comfortable. The foyer is quite small and not convenient to remove shoes when other guests are also present.

Your staff were the best! The hospitality was through the roof.

The price, especially booking last minute, was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was updated and had all the basics for a short stay.

The bathroom was pretty small (though we were happy to have one in the room) and no mini fridge (though we expected this based on booking info).

Impressive service from the helpful and patient staff: the female staff at counter helped us to sort out the transport status almost everyday; they made amazing breakfast sets which were yummy and not duplicating during our stay; their driver drives us to express bus stop in early morning- service that we didn’t expect. Personally I like the style of the house and room, very cosy with a neat common area. The fireplace is the highlight of it.

The heater was out of order on the first day of our stay, but the staff dealt with it on the next day. we went to the common bathroom for shower and the bathroom is clean and pleasant. Better if u drive.

Loved our two days at Apricot Pension. The staff were absolutely faultless, especially the superstar driver Laurence. Apart from picking us up and dropping us at the train station, he also took us to see the doctor and even dropped us off at a local bar.

the owner is very kind and generous. he brought us to travel around Hakuba even though it is not still fully open yet. We actually concerned at first we arrived because it was all close and quiet. However, it turns out to be one of the most memorable experience in Hakuba that we would like to go back to stay at this place again!

20 mins walking to nearest supermarket so you should prepare shopping before get dark.

Friendly staff that are willing to go the extra mile. Rooms are newly renovated and clean. Free coffee station available in the common area. Short walk to the ski resort shuttle bus stop. Short walk to Echo Land where there are several restaurants, rental equipment stores etc. We have stayed in many places in Hakuba over the last few years, and this was certainly one of the best in terms of value for money and room furnishings.

It is very cosy and old school like an old inn. the stuff we’re incredible and very accommodating to our needs as vegetarian, the breakfast was excellent and every day was something new. They spoke perfect English and were extremely nice. Also, the drying room for the ski gear was comfortable

The bathroom is very tiny but that is to be expected as it was a Japanese accommodation.
