Negatives : • The blue room is TOO close to the reception , we were woken up during the night due to loud noises and from the receptionist talking . • Limited privacy as a result of being so close to the front of house . • the website suggest a shuttle but they don’t tell you it’s R100 cash per way to the wine tram station . • The room advertised on the website was not the same as we got . Unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience due to the rooms location , maybe a different room would of been better . (The site did not let us choose which room and it did not specify

I highly recommend Maison Montagne- extremely comfortable, clean and upmarket accommodation with unbelievably friendly staff who were always willing to go above and beyond to do anything that they could to improve our experience. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the bathrooms are pristine and very modern with a wonderful shower and bath, and the communal pool area has wonderful views of the valley. The breakfast was also excellent! We loved our stay so much that we even extended it for another night as we didn’t want to leave! 10/10

Amazing location and wonderful spaceous rooms! Very friendly and helpful personnel. We had a free room upgrade and we could do a late checkout at 7pm for free as well. We will definitely comeback!

We had a lovely stay...the surrounds are very farmy & rustic....lovely views across the valleys so beautiful sunsets ....the room was large and very good bed linens, pillows etc. Breakfast was fine....my husband and another guest loved the poached eggs...it is walking distance to The Country Grand which is very handy....all in all it was a lovely one night. Thanks to all.

The rooms were beautiful and the service excellent!! It has the best location in Franschoek- close to town and to the wine trams, yet high up on the mountain with magnificent views over Franschoek.

This property is stunning! Lovely chill and calm vibes. The staff were so pleasant and friendly. Went above and beyond for us when we left something behind by mistake! Lovely breakfast which you can eat outside. Room a great size, including a bath. Would highly recommend for a stay in Franschoek.

Only regret is not staying longer!

The entire staff was welcoming and very friendly. Our reception was truly pleasant, and it didn't matter that we checked in an hour before time. Our room was already prepared and ready for us. At check-in and check out, we were assisted with our luggage.
