my room did not have a window facing outside. breakfast was from 7:30-9:30am which is very early for me when I’m on holiday.

The staff was very attentive. Organized the airport pick up, as requested. The room was very comfortable. The location is perfect. Just a 5 min walk from Jiuzhaigou park entrance. The breakfast was also quite good (toast bread, boiled/fried eggs, coffee, tea, vegetables, congee, rice noodles...).

Positives were the location, short walk to the park. Also the manager named “Totty “ was very courteous and quick to rectify any issues we had. Nice guy.

First night we were given a room that smelled of damp, was dark with window facing out to a big rock wall, blocking any view or light. We complained to reception and the boys working there said they could move us to another dark dingy room that smelt worse. Following day, Totty the manager arrived and after speaking with him, he quickly moved us to a nice bright and airy room overlooking the valleys. We had breakfast included in room rate. Breakfast was the worst I’ve seen for international hotel like the holiday inn. Coffee but no milk? Bread but no butter or jam ? Noodles and hard boiled eggs. No choice really but advertise a buffet breakfast. I didn’t eat breakfast there any morning. Simple things like milk, butter, some scrambled eggs , cereal would make a difference to the breakfast menu. But suppose they are catering to the Chinese not foreigners ( so maybe it works for them) .

Clean, comfortable and well designed hotel rooms, fresh scent throughout the whole hotel, helpful staff, good dining options nearby and pretty good chinese breakfast (wider variety of local breakfast dishes). Walking distance from the Jiuzhaigou National Park, which was great! Parking right in front of the hotel.

Room windows were hard to close if opened fully, breakfast could use wider variety of international/western options.
