Al llegar el chico súper amable y atento, nos explicó muchos sitios para ir, el apartamento super limpio, con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia agradable. Lo recomendamos muchísimo. Si algún día volvemos, no dudaremos en repetir apartamento.

Nada, todo estaba super bien del apartamento. Incluso la comunicacion de transporte fue super fácil y sobretodo teníamos el aeropuerto y la terminal de guaguas de la laguna cerca de nuestra ubicación.

Overall the experience was ok. The rooms look very nice and were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and we had a lot of places to store our luggage. The apartment is very spacious! The washing machine and the clothes dryer works well, but we didn't have any laundry detergent. On the other hand, we had all we need in the bathroom: soap, shower gel, SPF cream, hair dryer. In the kitchen, the situation was not so good. We didn't have dish soap, and the sponge and the kitchen microfiber towel were really dirty.

Because we went in December, the weather was cold during the night, so we felt the need for some blankets that we did not have. The host seems to be nice, but he does not speak English at all. He tried to give us some indications about using the kitchen and the water boiler, but because he speaks only Spanish, we could not understand any of them. Even if we told him the approximate time we should arrive, we waited for him for around one hour. When he gave us the keys, we had to pay a 50 euros (cash or via some applications that we had never heard of) guarantee and sign a Spanish contract that we did not understand. These things ARE NOT ok.

Good bed

1) when I made this reservation for a 3 bedroom flat: upon arrival I was only given access to one room while the others were locked right under my eyes, and I was not even given the option to select my bedroom. I confronted the host who said that because I was only one guest he could only assign me one room and that if I wanted access to the whole flat I had to pay double. This was not specified in the listing and I think it was a lack of courtesy. 2) when I arrived the host and his son were in the flat, they put the TV on and were switching channels and arguing in Spanish. I had to ask them several times to turn off the TV and give me the keys and leave me alone in the flat as their close and longer than necessary presence was a safety concern, and that I had to work so their presence was disruptive. Eventually after about 20 minutes they left me alone. 3) no heating was provided although listed as a facility. La Laguna area can get a bit cold at night. 4) I had no hot water the first night and morning as it turns out the host had unplugged the boiler. Just the right thing to do when expecting guests. Eventually after more texts and calls I had hot water 24 hours later. 5) during the first half of my stay the WiFi worked slowly on and off in the living room while no signal reached the bedroom. During the second half of my stay there was no WiFi at all in the entire flat. 6) the flat was advertised as quiet. There was in fact a lot of shouting, scratching floors with the furniture and generally disruptive neighbours. 7) cockroaches in the kitchen. 8) the area is not the prettiest and does not feel safe at night. 9) communication was difficult as the host only speaks Spanish, and did not make proper use of a translator, so most of the communication had to be mediated by a bilingual booking.com agent. In general I felt unwelcome, unsafe and unhappy in this place. The host gave the impression he only cares about profit and not about guests well being
