The location was close to my nephew, who was my real host and my ride for the three days I was there to visit cousins from the midwest in addition to the nephew and his spouse. The beauty and size of the living area/dining area and the GORGEOUS kitchen were the first things you see upon entering. My first thought was, "Oh, yes; this was the PERFECT choice!" The lovely garden and fountain with eating and lounging areas also helped set the table for a great experience!! The back-of-the-property privacy was also a plus, and the laundry room was next to the barn--I almost wished I had been there long enough to need it! And Gigi, the property manager and "host" was wonderful. I feel that I have a new friend. The owner was so generous with her decorating and special "things" throughout the property--she made you feel welcomed into her "home." It's in the heart of a wine-country area and was a perfect getaway from the big city. I didn't need A/C at night; there were two fans provided, which I used to usher the night's coolness through the comfortable bedroom.

Gorgeous, large accomodation. Why pay the same for basically just a bed in a hotel!? The ONE and ONLY improvement I could suggest is to replace the existing toilet with a "chair height" toilet. I am somewhat disabled (mobility/arthritis), and the toilet was SO low down, and there were no hand rails to help with accessibility. Adding a light in the WC would also help a bit.

It was easy to check in and find everything inside. It was comfortable and cozy. The only thing that I would advise to to, the bed linens could smell better.

There was nowhere to sit outside to sunbathe, everywhere was shade all the time. The only place I found was outside behind the house but there was nothing to sit on

It was quiet, and the home was beautiful and interesting. We loved having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the lovely patio. The kitchen and the great room were amazing. Thank you. A really nice retreat.

There is only one small water closet in the bedroom, which might be difficult for some people.

We were pleasantly surprised -- a very spacious, beautiful and comfortable place. We recently lost our home in the Glass fires in Santa Rosa, Ca. The Barn became a refuge and oasis from all the chaos around us. Surrounded by an apple orchard, and Zen like back yard, it was a beautifully tranquil environment. Our host, Barbara Jean graciously and unexpectedly allowed us to stay an extra day for free when we realized we had mistakenly erred in our scheduled departure day. There are still kind and generous people in this world! We highly recommend this place!
