We spent a wonderful six nights at Anthy’s Guesthouse - we picked it by chance not knowing much about the area, but were very happy with our choice. The place is located on a very quiet and peaceful strip of pristine beach, with a variety of bars and restaurants about a 15-20 minute walk away in both direction along the beach. So it’s ideal if you want to be somewhere quiet but within easy reach of somewhere livelier. The accommodation is simple and comfortable, immaculately clean and arranged very prettily amongst well kept gardens. The restaurant overlooks the beach and the food is excellent with a decent choice. Handily, you can add all of your food and drinks to the bill and pay at the end by card. The service is top-notch; we weren’t surprised to hear that the manager Mahindra has previously worked in five-star hotels in the Middle East because the quality of service and attention to detail were much higher than I had anticipated for a place like this. Credit also to his team including Sharuk and Jamal who looked after us very well each day from breakfast to dinner. If you prefer to stay somewhere with a lot more charm than one of the big resorts but still expect the kind of service you’d get in a high quality resort, Anthy’s is the place for you. We’ll very much miss taking in those epic sunsets from the terrace and hopefully we’ll have the chance to return again very soon.

Une équipe au top, super sympa et toujours prête à vous rendre service. La chambre est simple, confortable et très bien entretenue tout comme les jardins. Cette guesthouse "les pieds dans l'eau" est idéale pour qui veut se reposer dans un bel endroit verdoyant et fleuri. Il est facile de réserver un taxi pour découvrir le nord ou le sud de l'Etat de Goa.

The staff is very Helpful. Location is Good. Property is Nice. Food was Good.

The bathroom is very Conjusted. Need 24*7 service as there can be emergencies during Night. WiFi Signal was poor inside the room. Needs Improvement on these points only then we can say it's the best property with value for money l

Really extremely nice staff. Very friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome with a half year old baby. Location directly at the beach, very nice, too! The entire guesthouse looks nice with flowers and plants. Good and reasonably priced foods and drinks. No one will starve here. Also very customer oriented and friendly with late check out etc.

Despite the mentioned good aspects, we can’t really agree with all the prior ratings. our room was not really clean (and only once cleaned on request), we had 3 roaches which come and go in both bathroom (doorframe) and bedroom. Once had rat on terrace hiding behind trash bin, observed another one in open restaurant. Every day and each day VERY often power shortages (up till 5 times per day). Once over 1.5 hours, including no running water (bad when you come from beach). WiFi not the best. Only on the last day we were informed that we could have expected every day cleaning and 2 bottles of water for free.

Location was perfect, staff were very accommodating, Roy was a perfect gent, would highly recommend.
