It was in a nice quiet location,living area was large,toilet was first class as was the bedroom

As most visitors said the TV was the only problem.never worked correct.needing sorted.

Its placement in Hawes centre and it was very tidy and clean

There was a slight damp problem, under the stairs so it initially smelt damp

The wood burning stove was great

Good location to the centre of Hawes and for the walks

There was no car parking outside the property yet there was a car that was parked outside for the duration of our stay . We had to park around the corner as Hawes was very busy Maybe also in the future don’t have carpet if you allow dogs as we could smell dog odour on the carpets

Compact but well-designed and nicely decorated with a peaceful atmosphere. Easy walking distance of the village facilities and access to walking routes. Although there was no car parking at the property I parked just a short distance away with no problems.

I thought it would have more of a view, it was a little boxed in by other properties. A neighbour's car was parked right in front of the bench outside the window, so you couldn't sit there, and no other outdoor space.

Lovely central location, and pleasantly surprised to find a washer/dryer in the cottage. Only issue is lack of garden for pets but easy access to suitable walks. Car parking no issue in February
