Location perfect and very comfortable stay
Towels too small, biscuits on arrival not covered, magazine rack very cobwebby and full of 2021 mags, a couple of easily fixed observations for the future would elevate this lovely property.

The Sycamore is in a beautiful location, it is spacious and very clean. The accommodation has everything you need to make it a home from home and is just a few minutes walk to Arlington Row cottages and all the local attractions. The parking space is a great bonus. It is in a very peaceful and private setting. We found the bedroom very comfortable. Once you close the bedroom doors and the blackout blind, it’s very dark and no daylight gets in in the morning, making for a great nights sleep! The shower is lovely, very big and the water was hot. The WiFi was fast and reliable, which helped because the village generally has a very low signal. Overall a lovely stay and we would visit again for sure!
There were very few gripes. The were only apps on the TV (no freeview or satellite) so if you don’t have a variety of accounts you can log into, there isn’t much to watch. The iron provided worked but is a tiny travel iron and so not good for lots of creases. It was okay but could be a full size iron. I purchased another mug (which I left behind!) because there was only one regular size coffee mug in the property…now there’s two! I have attached a photo of the entrance as the directions provided mention the high wall and gates, but these are hard to spot. Look for the two telegraph poles and the entrance is there!

Loved the area — felt like we were in a postcard. The cottage was artsy and charming with amazing, calm energy. Very serene, peaceful, and romantic.
It was a little tough finding the gate/driveway — we circled a few times (and used the very clear instructions). Would be helpful if the Arlington House sign was more visible maybe?

High quality interiors, spacious with attention to detail. Beautifully cleaned and some thoughtful touches. Internet also worked well.
Not a negative necessarily but note there is no bath - nice shower instead.

It's very cozy, clean, and convenient cause it's so close to the Arlington row. A very cute little house that I comfortably stayed.

A absolutely beautiful property, perfect location, immaculate in decor and so homely! we didn’t want to leave, everything was super!
I thought people where being dramatic about the bed but it is in all fairness it was unbelievably noisy, but with all else being so super can’t say it damaged the stay just can’t say we slept well.

The bed was really comfortable and the bedroom was lovely to sleep in. The velux blind and big doors made the room really cosy and dark.
The kitchen area was well equipped and laid out.
The shower was powerful and easy to control.
The hosts were friendly and helpful.
I liked the fact that the recycling and waste were well organised and separated.
It's a beautiful village and being within walking distance of some of the very "touristy" things was a real bonus.
The towels were very small and thin - some big fluffy bath sheets would have made the luxury bathroom much better. Also a towel hook near the shower would stop the bathroom floor from getting really wet.
The windows and bifold door were not clean on the outside.

Lovely cottage, the location was perfect and was so close to Bibury
The milk that was left in the fridge for us was out of date before we even arrived, which was disappointing as there weren’t really many local shops nearby.
Also the fridge was a bit smaller than we had expected so we couldn’t fit all of our food and drink in

Beautiful place to stay. bigger than it looks in the photos even. gorgeous decor and the outside area is much bigger than i expected too! Thought the space was perfect for two people and would definately recommend. the village itself is beautiful and the sycamore is located perfectly near two pubs and the river. easy to get taxis around also.
Bed is incredibly creaky - looks great and very comfy - just too creaky

Could have provided more coffee and coals for bbq as only enough for one day

Could do with a few better kitchen utensils (tongs etc)
Bed is very squeaky too……..
Could do with a mirror in the bedroom (mrs comment).
Otherwise no complaints.
Postcode takes you to the other side of the street also.

I booked Sycamore for my wedding at a Cripps venue, which meant that I was also getting ready there with my bridesmaids, hair and makeup artists and mum. It was absolutely perfect; lots of space, great outside area, beautiful bathroom and shower with large mirror, lovely bedroom and sociable breakfast bar. The owner was lovely and even cleaned the room for us after we left for the venue and tied ribbons around the apartment to make it extra special! It was all just perfect and I am so glad we decided to book here! Highly recommend.

The Sycamore is beautifully arranged and high end luxe. But it was let down a little by lack of good cutlery, kitchen utensils and quality pans etc. This oversight seemed very odd given how high end the general accomodation was.

We did seem to find rather a lot of wood lice at home there and needed more cooking utensils- spatula wooden spoon etc and bigger saucepans
