No central heating, no heater in one bedroom and no provision for heating the room The rooms were small, just big enough to accommodate double beds with no space on either side of the bed No washing machine/spin dryer, with long stays and the rains you have no chance of getting dirty clothes washed and dry in there.

Location was excellent flat had everything that we needed just a shame we had to leave early due to hospital admission

Plumbers working in the above property very noisy until 8pm at night

It looks nice on the surface…..

Where do I begin?!?! This flat may look reasonably nice, but it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed, and the owners are a nightmare to deal with! As soon as you open the door, you’re hit with a very strong smell. We thought it was weird cleaning products at first, as the owners claim to clean beforehand. The smell is actually damp and mould. It’s so so bad, we had to leave halfway through our holiday, as it was making our chests bad. There is absolutely no ventilation whatsoever, and no extractor fans. Our clothes were damp, and absolutely stunk when we got home! We’ve had to throw away our pillows that we took with us, and my daughter is beyond devastated that her teddy that her grandparents gave her when she was young, is also ruined. She’s autistic, and has a major meltdown if she can’t sleep with it. When we arrived and we’re unpacking, there were bottles in every drawer of the bedside table, with a spider behind it, and lots of dust and dirt on the floor and skirting. No apology from the owner, just told to put it outside. My daughter had 2 spiders on her bed, on 2 separate days….again, autistic meltdown. The walls have damp on them, and the shower and bathroom tap are dirty. The glasses are all dirty, despite the owners claiming in their message that they are sanitised before the stay. The ironing board was horrific!! Very old, and covered in black mould! When I asked for a new one, I was told they were in London, so couldn’t. When I offered to buy one and have them reimburse me, I was told to put MY towel over it!! When I refused to get mould on my own towel, I was told to use the tablecloth! The floors are filthy, but the owners argued they mopped them. In the photos, you can see a pair of socks i wore after my evening shower. That’s how dirty the floors are! The owners point blank refused to give a refund, and it was only when booking.com spoke to them, they agreed to give the money back for the nights we didn’t stay.

Apartment was cosy, clean and comfortable. Centrally located with easy access to the beach. Hosts were welcoming and accessible. They answered any questions put to them within a timely manner. Perfect break for a couple of days away from home.

Brilliant location, close to entertainment and own private access onto the beach. Parking space available and friendly neighbours. Apartment provided everything that was needed during the stay and the owners very helpful and accommodating upon arrival and departure.

A few problems with the hot water heating up. (Particularly when trying to wash up). Apartment was mostly clean however under the beds needed cleaning as very dusty when making them.

beautiful property so cosy and clean. hosts were fabulous on hand when needed really went out of their way when I forgot some items and posted them out to me. i come to brean regularly and this is the best place I have stayed so close to everything yet quiet. would 100 percent recommend

could do with a heater in the room with 2 beds it was very cold would be fine if staying in summer months we just popped other bedroom heater on and left the doors open as it’s on the adjoining wall it helped :)

Great communication with texts from the owners answered all of questions in good time. Nice little place in brean just across from the amusements arcade and theme park there is also a soft play and swimming pool for people who have kids. Close to the beach which you get a key for a gate at the back. The apartment has everything you will need in the kitchen to cook with, but if you do not want to cook there is a chip shop right outside and a few bars pubs and restaurants along the road all walking distance.

Only thing i would like to mention is maybe adding a rug in the living room area to add some warmth to the room in colder months.

The apartment was clean and tidy. It was located close to various facilities. Easy access to the beach.

The property was so clean, so comfortable and ticked all the boxes. Perfect for a weekend break. The location is spot on, right in the heart of the action and far enough back not to hear any noise. Easy access to the beach through the two locked gates at the rear of the car park, ideal for a morning stroll.

Ashley and Rachel were brilliant hosts so helpful and kind we had the most amazing stay so close to the beach the apartment was perfect can’t wait to stay next year would highly recommend
