Creek front cabin in the heart of Maggie Valley!
Cette cabine de style chalet confortable se trouve juste sur le ruisseau Jonathan Creek, le ruisseau principal qui traverse Maggie Valley. Situé en bas de la vallée, vous êtes entouré de vues sur la montagne. La propriété est plate et facilement accessible toute l'année. La maison offre 2 chambres avec lits doubles et une mezzanine avec un lit double et un canapé-lit gigogne. Il y a une cuisine bien équipée avec des sièges pour 8 dans la salle à manger et une grande salle chaleureuse avec un foyer au gaz pour se détendre après le dîner. L'espace extérieur est une retraite parfaite côté ruisseau! Le porche grillagé à l'arrière fournit un bain à remous pour quatre personnes et donne sur le ruisseau. Il y a un coin repas et un lit gigogne pour votre sieste l'après-midi. Et il y a aussi un trou de maïs!

The home and location are beautiful! If it were mine for rental income I would do a way better job of cleaning inside and out so visitors would feel welcome and want to come back. Upon arrival I had to take the broom to the exterior steps and furniture to remove spiders, webs and debris. The entire outside needing a good pressure washing, green moss was growing on the door mat and steps. The oven was nasty, I hated to bake dinner rolls in it. The laundry room was loaded up with spiders and webs. The dirt and leaves could have at least been swept before we arrived. I just was disappointed that they knew we were coming and nothing was swept clean for us. The hot tub was wonderful, but there was no where to throw a wet towel or bathing suit to let it dry. The bathrooms were tiny and had no where to put your things. The river was beautiful and sounded great, but I probably won't return. We have rented many cabins and they have always been clean and welcoming except this one.

Great location on Jonathan Creek! Even though we were near busy Soco Rd., we felt that we were in a secluded spot. The screened in porch was the perfect spot to hang out, eat, and use the hot tub.
We plan to stay there again.

Cute cabin, creek was great to see and listen to. Saw 3 elk come across the creek. Walking distance to most of Maggie Valley which was great . Home owner was very responsive. Highly recommend this property.

This property was very well maintained, clean and had what we needed for a weekend to fish and relax! It is not as private as what the listing seems, but in a convenient location and was nice!

The cabin is so cute! We loved the location and that the owner made sure you had everything needed for a great stay. The screened is porch is amazing, we loved sitting out and enjoying the sound of the creek.

House is well kept , we really enjoyed the screened porch overlooking Johnathan creek , the beds where comfortable, close to restaurants , shopping, and attractions, will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our visit to Maggie Valley! The cabin was centrally located to so many places that we were able to get in the car and go visit! We loved the creek, large yard and porch that overlooked the beautiful mountains. Our children enjoyed the visit as much as we did. We also used the fire pit to make s’mores one night .Thanks for being great hosts!

Nice house
The house was very nice and cozy. Thankfully we drove the truck. Had we have taken our car we would have scraped bottom everytime we entered or left the driveway. The creek was awesome beside the house. The location was perfect. Would definitely recomend.

The perfect getaway
We were pleasantly surprised by this little cabin! Nestled right off the main strip in Maggie Valley close to everything but it felt like we were tucked back ever so nicely away from everything as we relaxed in the hot tub. Loved the cabin!!

Annual Ski Vacation
My family and I had a great time here. We stayed during our annual ski vacation. The hot tub was just what was needed after a day of skiing. The kitchen had everything you would need!

Good for price… but
Great little place for the price. Well stocked kitchen which is always a plus.
Cons: You have to make your own beds. They put blankets on the beds but no sheets?!? I personally don’t like making beds on vacation. Also, there is zero insulation between floors. You hear every word and squeaky move upstairs. You can’t go to sleep if anyone moves in the upstairs loft. Important if you’re putting children up there. Property is older and not remodeled.
Great location! River and fire pit are great. Cozy overall. Would stay again.

Great house, loved the location. Driveway entry is rather steep, not sure a car would make it without scraping. Firepit was great, made for wonderful evenings by the creek.

Beautiful and Peaceful
The Cabin has a wonderful, long, screened in porch. It faces the Jordan river. It's relaxing to watch and listen to all the river sounds. Its area is Quite, well maintained and has lots of indoor and outdoor space.
We love to fish and the river in this location is deep enough to catch large trout. It has a great outdoor fire pit and lots of seating.
It offers 2 queen size beds on the main floor and a double on the 2nd floor. There are 2 1/2 baths and though a bit small, this is an older, but well maintained building. So the bathrooms are not as big, as some are built in today's homes. But, it really depends on your preferences. I like outdoor space more and comfy beds. I don't need a massive bathroom to shower and get ready. The bathrooms are modern, tilled and in good condition. So over all, Just a Wonderful, relaxing place to enjoy Maggie Valley and all it has to offer. The owners are attentive and willing to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We will definitely return to this cabin for our vacation next year!

Right off main highway
It was very convenient, but we thought we would have more privacy. It was a great fit for our family, but the master bed needs replaced, and the cookie was reported on a review before as not working. We came in thecoozie was very cloudy, Caroline came right away and changed water. So day 1 no cookie,. Day 2 it worked for about an hour, Caroline called a repair in, I could tell he'd been there before. He got it going but it lasted a good 2 hours. Ssoo don't count on a coozie. The fire pit was nice. The creek was very shallow and couldn't hardly see it from porch. BUT the kids had a good time in it. Overall, clean and great for all the shops. Just needs some TLC AND MORE PRIVACY😎

Hillbilly Jam Weekend
We just checked out this morning from this cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We were in with friends and family for the hillbilly jam. We were able to walk there because the cabin is only separated from the festival grounds by a hotel. Perfect location. I saw where some people said they didn't realize the location wasn't as secluded as they would like. Personally, we loved it. We were right in the middle of Maggie Valley and right off of Soco road which is the main road through town. Even though there are cabins around you, when you're in the backyard it feels like you're far away from everything. It was easily 10° cooler from all the shade and the creek that runs on the back of the property.. It was very peaceful and the cabin slept seven people comfortably. The only suggestion I would make is to have an extra trash bag provided as there was only one and there was no dishwashing detergent to start the dishes upon leaving so instead we washed them by hand. Other than that, everything was perfect and would highly recommend. We will absolutely be repeat customers. Thank you Caroline for a great stay!

Good value.
Everything was fine; place is comfortable, big enough and well stocked. Saw several bunny rabbits in yard. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was mattress was not firm enough for us and jacuzzi was not warm enough.

10 days of BLISS!!!
This Cabin was amazing for our Family. The owners were great and very easy to work with and the property was Beautiful! All the trees surrounding and the sound of the River made it feel as if you were in the middle of mountains alone! Couldn’t ask for more. And the fishing was very plentiful! Very happy and already recommended to a lot of people!

MEMORIAL TRIP 2022
The Property was excellent. The screen in porch, the fire pit and the creek right by the home, very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The Property owners were great and very helpful and friendly. We hope to come again.!

Not what we expected.
The property is cute however not what we expected from the pictures. It is not secluded at all like it appears. Showers are super small, 6 foot male had to bend down to get hair wet. Washer and dryer are not inside the cabin, it is in a shed attached to back of the cabin. No heat in the room where the washer and dryer are. Beds were not made, clean sheet sitting on corner of the bed. Hot tub super small but was aware of that from other reviews. Never received check in email. Creek was nice but not for people with young children.

Ski Trip
The cabin kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the screened porch and hot tub. A babbling brook and beautiful fire pit is just outside the door Furniture was a little worn and Tv could have been easier to watch had it been lower Otherwise we enjoyed our time. The host was very accommodating when we had a compilation with our trip. The cabin itself was very lovely

Property was clean and just as described. Great location close to town on the creek. So you still have that cabin feel but without all the driving to get anywhere.

Good cabin in a good location
The cabin isn’t as secluded as it looks in the pictures but it was nice to be walking distance to the main road. The cabin is nice inside and out and well stocked. The porch views of the creek are really great. The cabin is spacious but as others have said the hot tub barely fits three people. Also, the jets don’t work on the hot tub. Our only other issue was the noise from people walking on the wood floor in the upstairs loft is very loud so whoever stays up there needs to be light footed or wait until everyone downstairs is awake in order to not wake everyone up.

Great Spot
We throughly enjoyed staying at the cabin. It is in a great spot right on the creek. The home was clean and had enough space to spread out.

NOT musty or dusty & we have allergies
Very clean, lots of space. Cute decor. Well stocked with serving dishes, pots, utensils, even marshmallow roasting sticks. They thought of everything!
Loved sound of rushing stream, so peaceful with covered bridge right next to us.
Loft was nice, very large, but sun comes in through beautiful tall windows in living area so may want eye mask if sleeping in.
Note that Hot tub only fits 2 adults or 3 slender adults.
We have sensitive allergies to mildew, mold, dust but nothing set them off (which is unusual, usually trigger by couches, bathrooms, or blankets/pillows etc. But this place was pristine (for 55yr old rustic, large, and adorable cabin)
TV set-up was only good viewing from sofa and 1 seat. We still enjoyed movies but keep it in mind if have a large group and plan to use TV a lot.
Quick and helpful communication with owner. Generous stack of firewood and lots of chairs by fire pit.
Just side note but didn’t change how much we liked it. It wasn’t as secluded as it appears in photos, but still definitely spaced from other houses and felt private.
We’d love to return!

Comfortable Cabin
The cabin is in a nice location and is very quiet even though it is not far from the main road in Maggie Valley, the only noise came from the creek as it tumbled over the rocks,. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our family and friends.
