The staff is lovely and are really trying to make you feel comfortable. The cleaning staff are a gem and the room was always clean and tidy.
Hotel looks amazing!
You are literally under the planes landing and they will wake you up. Breakfast is very average. If you don't have a private pool, the common one is only open from 11am to 7pm which makes it incompatible with day visits. A lot of details are more in tune with a 3 or 4 star hotel but a 5 star hotel price.

Staff were absolutely amazing. They went over and above to assist us and make our trip to kefalonia so enjoyable. No request was too difficult.
Location means you need to drive a while to get to great beaches and other areas. If you just want to enjoy the facilities of the hotel then it’s perfectly fine.

Location, views, luxurious rooms. Staff were truly wonderful. The restaurant “Turquoise” has to be sampled. Best food we experienced all week.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous. Upon arrival we had the best welcome with a champagne glass. The lovely lady receptionist (with the blond hair) upgraded our room with a private swimming pool and it was the most incredible experience ever. We had the best room with all the facilities needed. Details like giving you a scrubbing sponge, body cream, slippers and a welcome beach bag is incredible and makes it a true 5 star hotel. In the morning you could order as many different types of coffee and we had a variety of eggs to choose cooked fresh from the kitchen. All the staff was excellent, very polite and always at your disposition. The hotel was extremely clean, the housekeepers did a great job to provide us comfort everyday. I can’t recommend this hotel enough it was absolutely amazing!!!

the Electra is definitely a luxury hotel with everything being perfect, very relaxing atmosphere, exceptional food in the restaurant and the breakfast is great. staff are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble, rooms were serviced everyday with fresh water and towels, aircon works great, beds are very comfortable. we stayed in a double room with sea view and it was very spacious. planes do fly over everyday but for us we loved this. we will definitely be back

The hotel layout and staff were great. The place had a resort feel. The swimming beach is an easy 2 minute walk. There are a few restaurants in easy walking distance. We had a plunge pool room, with very pleasant views out of the gardens to the sea. The front deck was a great place to sit and relax. The food for breakfast & dinner was excellent.
The location and the planes were not ideal. The location of the hotel is far from everything. Nothing other than the few local restaurants, and a swimming beach is within walking distance. The hotel is 2 minutes drive from the airport. The planes fly in low over the hotel to land. We were in the shoulder season, and we got about 10 planes a day, with one at 10pm at one time. It is so loud when outside, you need to block your ears. The rooms do a good job blocking the sound when all doors and bathroom windows are shut., but a plane will still wake you from your sleep, unless you are comatose. Not sure what it would be like during peak season. The planes fly very quickly overhead, so each plane disruption is over in about 5 seconds.

The hotel is fantastic - we loved our stay here. We were very impressed with the food and facilities at the hotel. We were especially impressed with the size and decor of our room. All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. There was a good variety of spa treatments on offer and the ones we had were excellent. The hotel is located near the airport, which meant it was located on a flight path. However, the planes didn't fly at unsociable hours and we found it interesting to watch.

Spacious and elegantly furnished room with big balcony and magnificient view onto the sea. Beautiful garden. Breathtaking views of airplanes flying low over the hotel to nearby airport. Good breakfast with lots of various food to choose from. The long and sandy beach only a short walk away.

Facilities were up to date. Clean. Comfortable. Spa was nice. Breakfast was delicious. Location worked really well for us.
The airport can have its loud moments, but it wasn't like it was all the time. Also, I didn't hear any planes at odd hours. So no real complaints.
