Loved everything about the location, building was nice and lots of room. Looked almost identical to the pictures. A few minor issues but over all enjoyed our stay of 10 people and a dog.

The home is run down and needs some work, the baseboards in the bathroom were moldy and lifting, furniture was old and some was broken. A lot of the windows were stuck shut and held together by tape. The home was not clean, floors were disgusting and turned your feet black, carpet on stairs was stained and smelled like urine. Dirty bedding left on the bed. Dirty dog towels were hung on the towel rack upstairs, I almost dried off with one. The rest of the towels were dingy and didn’t smell clean. The tv downstairs didn’t work and the downstairs’ bathroom was leaking water from the ceiling. It’s very obvious all they care about is a quick turn around to make money.

We have stayed in many Vacasa properties with being very pleased, but this one totally changed our idea of vacasa quality. The chairs both had torn cushion covers, chairs terribly stained, the microwave had the handle screwed barely hanging on, the dishwasher spinner thing was melted and broken, not enough or comfortable seating for the number of allowed guests. This was the very worst vacasa stay we have ever had. Vacasa, please use part of the money we paid to stay there to fix the issues stated above.

The place was large enough to accommodate our large party. Unfortunately though, it was not very clean. The floors weren't swept and there was sand in the bed sheets. The bathrooms were moldy and water stained. Also the living room used to be the lobby for the motel so people kept trying to jiggle the door handles and knock. It just needs to be better marked. The online photos were a bit deceiving and the paint job was not nice in person.

Pros:
Location. It’s a one minute walk to the beach.
Bedrooms are a good size. Washer and dryer in the unit . Lots of towels.
Cons: It was still dirty upon check in. Floors were pretty grimey and the stove top was covered in crumbs. The microwave is held together with screws and the vent cover fell off when we opened it. The kitchen window doesn’t open and is taped shut. The oven set off the fire alarm the first time we used it. The front doors of the old office are in the living room and we had several people try to come in for check in. I eventually had to put a sign on it. The furniture in the photos is not the furniture in the unit now. Basic kitchen utensils are missing things like tongs and a pitcher.

Furniture filthy. Dirty sheets. Garbage stacked outside our door. Jigsaw hotel feeling. Horrible experience but we had no other place to go. So disappointed 😔

Pros about Sea Treasures Inn unit #100
1. Location. We loved how close we were to the beach and loved walking to the cute beach town stores.
2. Well stocked. We cooked most our meals in and the kitchen had everything we needed.
3. I accidentally left dog poop bags at home and was so happy to see there was a fresh pack for me provided. I love special touches like this.
4. Ice! The freezer was full of ice and the ice maker worked! We are an ice loving family!
5. Parking was great. I went in feeling a bit scared but there were plenty of spots when we got there at 7:00 pm and didn't have a problem finding a spot our entire stay.
6. The amount of beds and rooms was wonderful! It sleeps 12 but we were only 5 and it was fun to all have good space.
7. Check in and out we're so easy!
Cons about Sea Treasures Inn Unit #100
1. When arriving the beds had sand on them. It's a beach house I can overlook but maybe you can not.
2. Our feet were black after walking barefoot for the night. We wore socks after that.
3. Pretty sure building codes are not being followed with the oven. It is so close to the wall. The blinds on the window are literally warping from the heat. Eek.
4. The oven set the smoke detector off 4 times while my son cooked his pizza on a pan at 350.
5. I felt bamboozeled by the pics on the listing. We made a game of it and pulled them up while sitting in the rooms. We had a good laugh. Everything is much smaller than pictured and furniture is not as shown.
6. The queen room floors are on a slant. The head of the bed is lower then the feet. We could roll a ball down the floor without pushing it. My 2 kids that slept in those beds woke with headaches and tingly hands. Not good.
7. All the walls are in need of paint touch ups. Overall there are a list of repairs needed on this property.
8. The baseboards and walls in the bathroom are stained brown from water damage and who knows what. Also there is an extreme mold smell in the upstairs bathroom.
9. While we are on bathrooms, I was showering upstairs and the light fixture in the downstairs bathroom began dripping a large amount of water. This really freaked us out.
10. I was unable to open windows as they were painted shut. (This was frustrating when the smoke detector kept going off when we used the oven.) I accepted the no AC thinking I could open all the windows. Well I could not. I unlocked them and tried with all my might. My teenage son could not open them either.
11. This clearly used to be the lobby of the original motel as there were double doors in the living space that are creepy. They can not be opened but there were handwritten notes saying "do not knock" and "not a door". Very low class. The privacy film has been scratched off in several spots and my kids were too creeped out to be down there alone at night as they felt like someone was peeking in.
We will never stay here again. We were happy to leave and sad we spent the money. I rarely write reviews but thought these things could not be overlooked. I've stayed in other properties on the Vacasa website and have been really pleased. Not this one.

The unit was very clean. Cosmetic things made it look dirty. Water stained baseboards, walls with paint Chips, leaky toilets, shower curtain too short water leaked out from every shower, torn screens, microwave handle broken, carpet on stairs could be cleaned. Thin walls you can hear neighbors above and next to you. Beds were clean and comfy, loved the extra washer pods and dishwasher pods.

Nice place, great location to get to the beach, the train, and the main strip.
Would have been nice to have some basic cooking stuff like salt and pepper or olive oil since there's a full kitchen, and packing the small stuff like that easy to overlook.
Thanks for the great time!

Nice place
The outside has a 60s vibe, but the inside is updated. It was cleaner than we expected reading previous reviews. The kitchen is a bit small for as many cooks as we have and we could not all sit down to eat at the same time , but people who eat out wouldn’t have those issues. It is described as having four bedrooms, but there are actually five which made it easier for us to assign sleeping arrangements. All in all, a nice place.

It was OK
We liked the location however, we thought we were renting a house, not a remodeled motel unit. Was not as clean as it could have been. Oven was dirty enough that if you tried to use it, the smoke alarm went off. Door to upstairs master was broken in 2 separate pieces, Window frame in kitchen was not attached so it made it hard to open. It was okay for our family, but at the price we paid, we all expected a little more.

Wouldn't recommended
Upon check in we first noticed floors were dirty, window sills very dirty and then noticed majority of pots/pans and dishes were dirty. We told management and received an email that someone would be in touch with us, that did not happen. Front door looked like an entrance to hotel lobby. First night we had someone just walk in ask after that we had to keep door locked. First night around 1am we had someone banging on the door for at least 15 minutes and then that person went next door to us and had a loud argument with those guests. “House” located next to train tracks, can get loud. Many reasons would not recommend or rent again.

Great location!
The location of this rental was great! Just a half of a block from the beach. But, there wasn’t any beach towels, chairs or toys to use. Lots of little repairs needed. Redo double glass doors for more privacy. Even better secure the doors better - people came by and tried to rattle the door thinking it was an entrance. Touch up paint, remove stains on chairs, fix toilet paper holder in first fl bathroom, etc and it would be an improved property

a few days away
We had a wonderful time at Rockaway Beach. This unit is a great place to stay with your dogs. The floors are a tile that was a bit slippery for them at first but they got the hang of it. Made sweeping up the sand from the beach easy to do. The beach is a quick walk away. A couple quirky things with the house but nothing that can't be fixed... I'll pass those on to the right people. Lots of extra towels. The washer/dryer were a lifesaver after getting caught in a rain storm. Kitchen had all we needed though the pans need replacing. We will stay here again!

My family of 5 (all adults+1 dog) stayed here during Labor Day weekend. The biggest pro was the location; it was right at the edge of all the stores and 1 block away from the beach! Unfortunately, we had many more cons than pros. This listing looks great in pictures, but it's deceiving. What we were most bothered by was how dirty it was. We were assured by the host that they were taking extra cleaning steps because of this pandemic, but we arrived to dishes that had dried sauce left on them, dirty toilets, and grimy towels (very cheap style). One safety issue was the fact that the living room was renovated from what used to be the inn's lobby. The double doors in the picture are right on the corner of the street (we didn't use them but I think you can to leave the suite), and although they put some kind of frosted filter to keep the glass non-see-through, there are a few see-through areas that someone could peep through and look right into the living room space. We actually had someone shake the doors at night because they thought it was the lobby!Another surprise was that the first night, all the lights flickered, both lamps and overhead lighting! For some reason, this didn't happen after that first night. The WiFi was also extremely spotty. Sometimes our devices couldn't even find the WiFi because the signal was so weak. Whenever we did get connection, it was very slow, so be ready to use up some of your phone data. The upstairs TV was not connected to the DirectTV service and the maintenance guy said he would come by to fix it later but he never did.Another thing to note is that the bathroom shower on the 1st floor is very tight, probably only 2ft by 2ft. Both bathrooms had a public bathroom smell as well.Overall, if you're looking for somewhere to hold a lot of people and is very close to the beach, this may be the pick for you. It is also recently renovated and has a nice modern style. My family is a little germaphobic, so we felt slightly uncomfortable during our stay, especially with all the problems we faced.
