5 moms and 11 kids and we had an absolutely wonderful time.

Large house with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had all the pans we needed. Lots of games. The lake and boat were a fun activity. The lake water was actually warm! Highly recommend this house.

This is the second year we've rented this property for a family fun vacation with 11 adults and two children under the age of two and would not hesitate to rent again. This house is located in a lovely neighborhood on a small quiet lake. There isn't a beach but we didn't have any problems jumping off the pontoon boat and doing a little swimming. There is a nice small beach about 10 mins away however. In addition to the pontoon boat there are two kayaks and a paddle boat that we used daily. The basement is full of activities and we created a family "Olympic" competition using the games which was a blast! We did encounter several questions and a few problems with the house, but the owners were very responsive to all of them. This is a great house with beautiful views of the lake and lots to do!

We all loved the house, the way the main floor opened to incredible views. The pontoon was awesome as well. For our Group, who are used to waterskiing and tubing, along with long lake cruises we felt the lake itself was very small. That’s just our opinion, the lake itself is nice, we simply wished it was larger for our needs. That has nothing to do with the house or renting, just us.

The property and our stay were great with only one drawback; the lake near shore was very mucky so we could not walk into the water to swim and had to take the pontoon boat out offshore for the kids to jump off for a dip.

Our stay was so peaceful and lovely! The house is exactly as described, and the ability to open the kitchen doors to make the space and inside/outside oasis was a highlight of our trip - I don't think we ever had them closed! Use of the boat was so fun, and the lake is the perfect size so that its not so crowded. Sunsets from the deck were perfection, and coffee on the front patio was also a favorite!

I have never felt more welcome in a home as I did in Stonewood Lodge. Our adult kids and spouses stayed at the house, it fit our family of seven nicely. Extended family came for the day, plenty of room for everyone. Jeanne was a great communicator and had the home very well stocked.

We hosted a weekend with college friends and this house did not disappoint. It was spacious for multiple couples and friends, comfortable and well stocked. The home is truly beautiful and the hosts were very thoughtful and walked us through all of the technology/features when we checked in. Was the perfect house to bunker down, light the fire and spend 48 with friends.

Everything was lovely! Jeanne was a gracious host, showed us around and how to work everything. The house is breathtaking and was perfect for our Women's Retreat. Thank you so much for everything!

This place is great, had everything you need to relaxation and entertainment with friends and family. We loved the clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked house. The host couple was a pleasure to deal with and helped to walk through all the onsite amenities and home functionality. The only bit of constructive criticism would be to add more instructions and lables on remotes and switches. This house has quite a few bells and whistles! Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place!

This is the best space at the best price for large gatherings. Very well equipped for all of our needs during the weekend. Beautifully decorated. The host even ordered extra child/infant life vests to accommodate our family! Very impressed and will likely book here again for our family.

Our experience renting this property was amazing from start to finish. The renters were very responsive when communicating through the VRBO app. They met us at the house and showed us around so that we knew how to use different technology, as well as explain anything else we needed to know. The home itself was very spacious with plenty of things to do. Very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend this rental.

We recently had a family weekend at this property and it did not disappoint. The house easily accommodated our nine adults and two babies. We utilized everything from the pontoon boat, kayaks, steam shower and lower level games. We cooked every meal in the spacious kitchen, and ate them on the upper level screened-in porch looking out across the lake. Everyone gave this place a big thumbs up. We definitely hope to come back!

This was such a great spot. House was well appointed. Our group cooked and had so much fun on the lake. It is so quiet and calm. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. We all LOVED the steam shower, such a great feature! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

We recently stayed at Stonewood Lodge with extended family. We enjoyed staying in this gorgeous home and loved that you could easily bring the outdoors inside. It is a very clean and modern home with ample space for our group of 15. The home does offer a lot of technology that can be a bit confusing at times. We didn’t receive operation instructions on some of the features, which definitely affected our stay. We were also disappointed that nearly all of the propane tanks were empty upon our arrival. The owner did fill one tank before all of our guests arrived, but it would have been nice to have more tanks for the outdoor heaters since the nights were a little cooler during our stay. We did request more tanks after the first night and the owners did provide them. When booking this property, I was under the impression the home was located on Wind Lake, but it is actually located on a smaller lake in the Wind Lake area (Long Lake in Waterford to be exact). Although the lake is less crowded and very serene with gorgeous sunsets, it is also VERY mucky and more suited for fisherman than swimming. The pier felt wobbly in areas and there are a lot of cattails between the house and the lake, making it difficult to see people/kids on the pier. The use of the pontoon boat was a nice addition to the rental, and a primary reason we decided to book this property, however we started having issues with it less than 24 hours into our stay. There was a lot of other outdoor equipment to use, however, including a canoe, kayaks and a paddle boat. The sailboat that was advertised was unusable and the owners have since removed this feature from the property listing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Stonewood Lodge. The interior of the home is very well decorated and spacious, with a lot of thought put into the comfort of their guests.

This house has amazing view and everything you need for your stay. The host was very welcoming and informative. We had a large group and all the space for us to stay.

We stayed at the house for an entire weekend on the lake. There was more than enough to do just at the lake. I did feel like our initial instructions on how to use all the gadgets in and outside of the house was limited, which affected our stay. The pontoon boat was awesome.

This lake home deserves more than five stars!! It is immaculately clean and spacious. Our grown children and grandchildren gathered for a family reunion. We used the pontoon boat several times every day, along with the kayaks and paddleboat. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. An outdoor fire pit provides evening options for som'mores and campfire songs.

The house had everything they needed and Jeanne was a fabulous host with excellent communication, making check in a breeze and the whole process super simple. The only bad thing I can say is us wives were so jealous that we didn’t get to go! We can’t wait to rent the property again for a family getaway weekend. Thank you Jeanne!

Our family weekend at this home exceeded my expectations. First off the home itself is absolutely gorgeous. The decorating is so stylish and comfortable. The home had every imaginable amenity and more. Plenty of sheets, towels, pillows, dishes, glasses, coffee cups. Everyone was comfortable inside and out. We used the pontoon, canoe and kayaks. The sunset on the lake is outstanding. Jeanne and Tom are so kind and easy going...generous and professional. Our stay could not have been better. I highly recommend this home.

My friends and I had such an amazing time this past weekend. Jeanne is so nice to work with and communicate with. The house is gorgeous and so clean! All of the amenities that come with the house make the stay even better. We loved using the boat and the water toys, and we loved using the bags and the ping pong table.
