The view

Broken toilet seat upon arrival, which pinched me several times. Housekeeping Dept. did not notice this?????? Burned out lightbulb in lamp next to the bed. My "Welcome" Sheet said the continental breakfast started at 7:00 AM when it was really 8:00 AM so I could not get breakfast prior to leaving for work. I should have gotten an additional discount for that. I received a discounted rate for the broken toilet seat. Hot tub was not usable...it was under Maintenance repairs.

Bed was confortable

Non existent breakfast. Checking in staff was not exactly friendly. For the price you should receive a lot better service and breakfast.

the room was large and clean

there was no hot water, so I couldn't shower the entire time I was there. Also the hotel was actually closed for half of my stay, with no staff on hand during that time and no amenities were available

the grounds are beautiful, Awesome stuff: playground, pool, piers/docking, attached restaurant, breakfast items/snacks, coffee/tea, location. clean room/carpeting, adorable furniture/decor, lobby super cute. balcony/patios spacious.

constructive criticism and this place would be great!!! the pool had way too much chlorine in it - just breathing in the air in the pool room was rough :( I only went once out of the 4days we were there/hubby and kid only twice :-/ we were really hoping to spend more time in the pool area but were really turned off by that :( … and the floor was kind of gross, saw food debris and a big hair ball) …hope it gets remedied! we had the big suite, nice and clean but was disappointed all the windows/sliding doors were dirty, and one of the sliding door locks is busted so we had to ask for a pole to secure it. didn’t like the futon for the gathering area, a couch would be more appropriate, plus it was so squeaky lol. the lighting could be improved, very dim. simple cushion upgrade in the lobby would freshen it up :)

We liked: beds were comfortable, room decor was nice, quiet. Close to downtown.

We had questions about: the sliding door was very hard to open, we reported it. Hot tub didn't work, no towels in the pool, only 4 chairs in pool area, paint chipped and kind of dirty, rescue equipment was missing, signs were out of date. Pool hours didn't accommodate early risers. Limited office and breakfast hours. 8-8. Early coffee and fruit would be good. Carpet in room was old. Door to room was not self shutting and hard to open.

The kitchen and playground

. The stairs to second floor with no elevator. The pool cold and the hot tub jets were down. No air conditioning in stone bedrooms In the three room suites. Some mornings the breakfast was scarce

The restaurant and bar on site were top notch. Very good food and drinks. We came here to snowmobile. The trail is located right in front of the hotel by the road. They have a large lot for trailer/truck parking. My son(2) loved the pool and hot tub. The pool water was comfortable, and not shocking cold. Mud creek saloon is right across the street that had some great live music. Easy walk back. We rented the 3 bedroom suite that was perfect for my wife, son, and parents. We loved having a kitchen for breakfast. Staff was very welcoming.

I do not have much for negative feedback. Continental breakfast was little low on options, but I wasn't expecting much. The TV could have been a little large in main area, but we didn't spend much time in the room.

The room was nice and spacious. It was very convenient to have a kitchen right in our room. Things around the hotel were easy to find. The view was fantastic and the kids really enjoyed playing on the playground.

The staff fought in front of the guests. The continental breakfast was less than ideal - juice was out, coffee was spilled, and the limited items they did have ran out quickly. The pool was okay but had a definite smell to it as though there maybe was mold or something growing.
