Good value for money and great TV, kitchen area getting alot better with good selection of cereals.

Not all rooms have ensuite but thats why the cost is lower

I was in a box room on the 3rd floor and didn’t any discount for it, was literally tiny! If you get Room 1 just don’t bother with it! Door frame was that small, I banged my head about 10 times! TV wasn’t connected and didn’t have anything on it. Just had a load of rubbish shoved into a room! Had a fridge but no power to use it! Went for a shower and didn’t even have hot water! Got woken up more than a few times! Went to shop come back and there was another guy in my room, we were both booked to the same room then he got an upgrade to a bigger room even though he was only staying 1 night and I was staying 2! Won’t be back!

Easy to locate, a short walk into the centre and nearby restaurants or shops. Good shower and wifi. The owners are amiable and kind.

I stayed in room 1 on the top floor, effectively in the roof space. There were no windows outside, it was a little cramped and as it was June it was very hot. There was a fan but not a very sturdy one. It's not an expensive location so It's not too bad but didn't feel amazing and certainly wouldn't enjoy for more than a night or two.

The access details to my room were given another guest who tried to gain entry to my room at midnight. Luckily I was just falling asleep but it was very scary.

Good location near town centre. Kitchen facilities and breakfast cereal etc. available. Fridge and large television in room. Good WiFi. Reasonable value for money.

A bit impersonal - I didn't see another person (guest or staff!) during my stay. Bathroom facilities a bit old-fashioned, hot water not too reliable.

The staff were noisey,( shouting up and down the stairs ) ? I was working nighthift. They even had work men changing windows in a room across the landing from me. The bath was dirty. The room is too cluttered.

Room had appliances so I didn't need to come out of my room which was good after a long day at work

The beds are not washed, there are stains of Blood on the bedding, the room is totally shambles, cables every where in the rooms, the top floor in front of room 1 near to my room is like a Storage, on stariways.

Ridiculous key codes to enter room and front door One radiator come on for 1 hour in 24 , during minus zero temperatures. Had to sleep with my coat on due to non refund. Contracted bronchitis. Owner completely unsympathetic and thick. Unaware or more likely uninterested in guests safety. Room was below freezing for the 3 night duration. Owner complained that he was stressed with my complaints 😱 Owner complained to Booking .com about my behaviour This Guest House should lose its license immediately before someone falls I’ll there and dies. A young mother and child or an elderly person living in the same room that I had would quickly become very vulnerable. Remove this hovel from your listing immediately or I’ll go to the authorities soon.
