Peaceful village, beautiful place. Rooms are well equipped and very inviting. The hosts were super nice, helpful, and generous. The only problem was that we couldn't stay longer 😀

Amazing stay at Vila Coura, Zay the host was incredibly helpful and the breakfast was beyond expectation. Our room was super cosy and clean and we felt at home.

There is absolutely nothing not to like at this location - everything is utterly perfect. The breakfast was outstanding. The feeling is that you just fell into a movie - we are not kidding. Early morning walks through vineyards, supper in the ancient courtyard filled with olive trees - afternoons by the pool surrounded by the terraced hills. Even the decor was lovely. It's beyond wonderful.

Set in a working vineyard, excellent pool with recliners and our 2 bedroom had balcony’s with views both sides. Local wine available.

We would have liked to get more wine but the common space where it was was rarely open. Difficult to find in the dark and no code given ahead to get in the main gate.

One of the most beautiful rooms, I have ever had! Really enjoyed the communal terrace, the breakfast was very good and I liked the little basket in which it was delivered in. we did not use the pool, but seemed absolutely sufficient! Parking lot available.

breakfast was very good, the only thing I would improve is the instant coffee! why not deliver a French press filled with a bit of coffee and people can fill it with hot water!:)

We loved the country side setting in the middle of the vineyard. The stone cottages were all modern renovated comfortable places to stay with nice facilities. The delivery of the breakfast basket and fresh bread daily was lovely. We enjoyed our stay very much. Jose spoke perfect English and made us feel welcome. He explained the facilities and procedure for breakfast daily.

We knew the property would be a bit far from town. Driving the little crooked roads was difficult - thank goodness for GPS.

This property is basically six smaller rental units in the hills near Amarante. Our unit was lovely decorated, modern, with good AC, a nice comfortable bed, good bathroom, and very functional and complete kitchenette. Smart TV is great too, as is the possibility to buy local cooled white wine. The place was very soundproofed and easy to make dark, so it's excellent to relax. The surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the pool. The pool area is great for relaxation.

Your experience of this place is dependent on the other guests: on our first day we encountered a large group of other guests loudly drinking, chatting, and making much noise at the pool - giving the place more the vibe of an all-inclusive at the Costa del Sol than a place to peacefully unwind in nature. We were lucky they left the next day, but feel the owners should institute some policy against this if it they want to offer a peaceful stay to all their guests. The pool was quite unclean, with sand at the bottom and yellow stains at the water level on the sides of the pool. We did not see it cleaned once during our three night stay. Breakfast is fine but sparse. The owners could do more with the agrotourism aspect, maybe offer more explanation on the wine grown on the grounds of the property or offering tastings.

We had a great time at Vila Coura, excelent service, facilities and staff. The breakfast is pretty good and served in a pic nic basket. 🧺 We had no car so we drove around everywhere with taxi, worked out just fine.

the housekeeping did not clean our room well at all. First day they didn't clean the dishes and second day they didn't clean the toilet and floor.

We loved the location and that it was set within its own vineyard and it looks even better in real life. The rooms are really well designed and the standard of furnishings and the kitchen area are excellent . For the price we thought it was really good value for money and we welcomed the fact that fluffy bath robes , pool towels and the most wonderful breakfast basket delivered to your door was included. The parking area is small but you can park on the very quiet country lane (which is exceptionally wide ) with a 30 second walk to the hotel gate so not an issue whatsoever.

Everything about our stay at Vila Coura was amazing. The property was beautiful and the staff were amazing. José in particular was an excellent host from start to finish and went above an beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. José demonstrates excellent customer service and his care and attention to us was greatly appreciated. His delivery of a fresh breakfast every morning consisting of fruits, juices, fresh baked goods, meats and cheeses is something we will not forget. We cannot recommend staying at Vila Coura enough!

Comfort: amazing bed and pillows, super comfortable. Kitchen: well equipped for short stays like ours, we have not missed anything. Breakfast gets delivered in a basket and we could easily prepare it. Bathroom: amazing, shower was perfect and plenty of towel options Superb Wi-Fi and super to have Netflix and Amazon prime available at no additional cost José was super nice and he explained all we needed to know to enjoy a relaxing weekend The estate is user cozy however we have not dived into the pool as it was cold….

this property is a must!!! we loved everything!

The staff is super friendly and helpful (José). We stayed as a family: two adults and a toddler, the loft apartment was perfect for us. Well equipped, nicely renovated with all the things you need. The breakfast is based on your own choice and whenever you wish (the fresh bakeries are put in a basket to the front of the door in the morning, the rest you receive the evening before so you can put them in your fridge). The garden is also very nice.

Not really ideal without a car (but ideal if you have one). The heating is either fireplace or aircon, the latter is programmable but has some noise if you use it during the night. The apartment is a bit dark during the day (which of course is not an issue if you go outside anyway).
