the food was excellent. the environment was beautiful.. the staff was friendly.
1. the key does not work. i had to leave the door open because im afraid i may nor be able to open it again.
2. there are no toothbrush, toothpaste, bath towrl, soap, and shampoo. i had to go to waltermart to buy toosthbrush, sunblock, and off lotion. it was a 45 minute drive.
3. the foid is expensive. the jet ski and the waffle boat were expensive. but i enjoyed it.

When the property charged me for the accommodation, my credit card bill increased by more than 100 pesos. Small amount but they are not transparent about this. No notification is indicated on booking.com. I messaged them to make adjustments or at least clarify what happened but rejected and said "We don't overcharge guests; you have to check our charging details before you proceed to pay." Again, no notification of adjustment of price. Kinda disappointed.

Beach and pool
The package includes internet but for 4 days of stay no internet in the room..AC is leaking, Door not closing properly. I tried to contact the property owner but no response No action..

The pool and the beach. Our unit was clean too..
During our stay, there were several power and water supply interruptions. The wifi signal was poor too.The place was not equipped to handle these problems and it was so stressful for the guests.

The property was walking distance to the country club and the hotel.
It was a hassle getting into Pico de Loro. The staff at the registration building didn't seem to know how to confirm that the property owner had allowed us to use their property. I was asked for a confirmation email from the property owner to prove this, but I didn't receive any except for the confirmed booking email from Booking.com. I was expecting that the registration building would already have been notified of our arrival. Things got fixed only after a series of message exchanges with the property owner and a bit of forceful communication with the staff. I felt bad for the staff, but I also needed to have my family served properly.
Also, I booked for four adults to use the property. So, we were expecting to have a queen bed and two sofa beds. When we arrived, there was only one sofa bed, and so my two adult children had to squeeze themselves into that one sofa bed. The property owner sent over a new folding mattress, but it was made available only for our last night. The wifi in the room was free, but it wasn't of any use as we couldn't get enough usable speed out of it. When we turned on the TV, no audio came out of it. We had to get assistance from two of the resident technicians to have the TV fixed as the property caretaker couldn't figure out what was wrong with the TV. This also took some time.
The property wasn't up to my standard of cleanliness. There was dust behind the TV and some of the furniture. We tend to get allergies from dust.

The registration process was long and tedious. Necessary information could be uploaded prior to arrival to shorten the check-in process. Overall cleanliness and maintenance of the building and facilities can be improved. The beach has a sign that doesn't allow bringing food and drinks but the only restaurant doesn't open until 11am, obviously, many guests bring their supplies. The beach is just beautiful and the views are magnificent, makes the long drive worthwhile. The unit had kitchen utensils and beddings. We knew beforehand and brought our towels. Drinking water was also provided by the host. Wifi was available but didn't have to use it as the phone signals were good enough to use. The balcony had a nice table setting that was perfect for our dinner and a long night of wine and cheese.

The registration per person on the property is very costly! this should be mentioned on the property portal. Its fine if this registration is good for atleast a year but it is only good for one time use only!

The owner cancelled the reservation when we have already checked in the resort and paid the registration fee. It was bec they did not submit our names 48hrs before the check-in date. This is a very traumatic, horrible and no customer service I ever experienced in my 5years of using booking.com. The owner even told me that I need to look for another resort when in fact our trip is all set.
