Nous sommes un joyau caché sur le littoral d'un mile de Carbon Beach, affectueusement décrit par les habitants comme «la plage du milliardaire»… qui abrite de nombreuses célébrités. Qu'est-ce qui en fait une location de vacances très recherchée? Emplacement, emplacement, emplacement! Nos unités en bord de mer ont une vue panoramique imprenable sur l'océan de l'île Catalina et le collier Queens; Les vues du littoral de la baie de Santa Monica au nord et jusqu'à Palos Verdes ressemblent à un "collier de lumières" le soir. Nous sommes à quelques mètres de la célèbre plage de Surfrider, de la jetée de Malibu, de la maison Adamson et d'une gamme de restaurants aux prix modiques exclusifs, dont Nobu. Nous sommes également à proximité de trois centres commerciaux extérieurs contigus avec Whole Foods, Starbucks, des magasins de vente au détail de classe mondiale, des restaurants supplémentaires, des studios de yoga, de fitness et de méditation. A proximité il y a des sentiers de randonnée et de vélo, des cours de surf et des locations de paddle board.

Coming to Malibu for a few days of rest and relaxation required a house that was close to the beach. This property checked all the boxes. It was perfectly sized for my husband and I, it had everything we needed so we didn't have to pack a lot of extra stuff and the location couldn't have gotten any better! It was easy to find, close to restaurants and attractions, either a short walk or short drive. The owner and caretaker were wonderful, I highly recommend this rental!

What a relaxing, stress free weekend we had!! Perfect way to celebrate our 10 year anniversary!! The crashing waves and that ocean breeze melted all my stress away! To be able to just walk out on the balcony at any given moment, with my cup of coffee was amazing! And walk down a few steps to a private, non-crowded beach?! Amazing! Everyone should do this at least once in their lifetime! Property was cozy, comfy, perfect temp!

That we return to Sandpiper says a great deal. It's not a smoked-glass gin palace, just a good, honest waterfront apartment - with exactly the same views of the Pacific and its wildlife as places costing ten times as much. Perfectly-placed to wander out for lunch or dinner at Malibu Farm Cafe or Restaurant, just-right beach walks, or to local shops. It's minutes drive from the Malibu Country Market shopping centre (and celeb-spotting...), a few minutes more to Malibu Seafood, and fish & chips every bit as good as anything you'll find in the UK (although some fish you won't find in Grimsby...). Take ear plugs - the Pacific waves crash directly under the balcony, and rush hour traffic noise can feed through to the bedroom in the back. Meanwhile, property manager Angel is never more than minutes away from being able to answer questions. Secure parking is a blessing - it can get a bit mad and cluttered on the PCH.

This beach condo is the perfect location and the right size for two people! Located close to the Malibu pier where you can watch surfers catch some waves, dolphins swim on by or find some yummy food at a nearby restaurant. The condo is older and needs updating and repair but the location is everything. Great communication from the seller and Angel is there if you need anything. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay at your beach condo.

This was an amazing place to getaway to for the weekend. It was our 24th Anniversary and she absolutely loved the rental. The waves crashing all day and night is so relaxing.
Only one suggestion, upgrade the mattress. The bed was too firm for my liking.

We normally do family spring breaks but our schedules didn’t coincide. I called my sister, we enjoyed the property schedule free and enjoyed the beach. It was difficult parking as the spaces were small and we had an SUV. The tide was really high at times. I would recommend this property and host.

This spot is centrally located in Malibu by the pier, shopping and sights. Angel, the property manager, was super helpful and kind. This property is basic but has the essentials needed and right on the water. We had an amazing visit!

Balcony overlooking the ocean was a perfect locale
To be fair, balcony furniture needs to be updated with new cushions. Toiletries were sparse, so bring your own. Plenty of linens for guests, including beach towels and chairs (did not use other equipment)
Balcony made it very easy to watch the kids play on the beach
Overall, based on location alone, we would return

Property needs some TLC
Bed was comfortable and the Balcony was The Best part of the unit. Definitely needs a full size mirror for the ladys. I truly enjoy my birthday weekday as its was peaceful and the views was Stunning.

Overall we loved our vacation here. The unit could use some improvements, but the view and ocean made up for it and was phenomenal. The caretaker Angel was super nice and accommodating. A small issue of ants inside the unit (ex. In bathroom, kitchen cupboards, in the bed). But other than that it was great.

Very clean and comfortable beach cottage. The entire process of checking in and out was easy. The property has enclosed parking off the street, and is centrally located in Malibu.

Didn’t get the check in instructions till the next day but Angel was on site and took care of us.
Great location! The place is older and a few things like the fridge didn’t get cold but the freezer worked. A little loud in the bedroom from street noise. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The owner description was spot on. The condo was fine for 2 people. Nice decor. Could use a new mattress. Location is what this property is all about. The view, sound of the waves and closeness to many wonderful shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again.

Our overall impression of the property: It's probably time to do some major renovations or tear it down and rebuild. The floors were sinking, mold in several places, none of the doors worked properly-they were all swollen and one was damaged, rust all over the patio railing. The place was kind of a dump, but it was clean and we still had a fun vacation. It was scary and noisy being right on the PCH-like a Mad Max movie! If you have an oversized vehicle you have to park right on PCH....Yikes!!

Exactly matches the description on the website. Always wanted to stay in Malibu on the beach this place lived up to my expectations. Plenty of bathroom towels and beach towels provided and fully equipped kitchen. Location is perfect overlooking the sea at carbon beach less than 5mins walk to the pier. We walked to Billionaires beach on the seafront which took a leisurely 10minutes to get past Nobu and to the front of the celebrity beach houses. We walked back along the road which took 15 minutes at a leisurely pace and there is a good pavement along the whole way too which is good for pch. Entry/Exit into the property with the car was easy (I was a bit apprehensive due to the traffic on pch!) but it was fine. There is a clicker in the apartment to work the gate to enter the property. Big shout out to Angel who greeted us on arrival and explained everything to us, very friendly asset to the property owner.

Cute little place, was a nice and relaxing place to stay with privacy. Even the pull out couch was comfortable! Thankful for the stocked kitchen to cook some fresh seafood from the local grocery store.

This is an elegantly simple and unpretentious property (translation: reeeeally good for the price) in a Pacific waterfront location three minutes walk from Malibu Pier and Malibu Farm Restaurant and Cafe, convenient for beach walks, and an easy walk or drive to every retail or eating outlet you'd want. The property manager could not have been more helpful. Waves alternately lapping or crashing were, for us, a great backdrop, although bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Rush hour traffic on the PCH can wake you if'you're lying in, especially if the locals are maxing their Ferraris or Harley-Davidsons away from the traffic lights, but that earplug investment is well worth it. Access from the PCH can be tricky first time; from the east you'll likely drive past, probably better approaching from the west in which case the gate is just past the Malibu Inn, immediately before a big tree overhanging the sidewalk/pavement, across the road from a small odd-shaped white building. We'll be back.

Turn down to be a great vacation spot this year. Even though we had a lot of cloudy, rainy, cold weather, we enjoyed listening to the waves during the day and in the evening. Nothing better than overhanging the Pacific Ocean and enjoying the water . It’s a great location close to many restaurants and shopping and groceries. Definitely recommend this VRBO for a relaxing stay in Malibu.
