Very well stocked and exceptionally clean property! We had a mini family reunion and enjoyed the area and all the property had to offer. Joy answered all questions immediately and a pleasure to work with. AC worked great, even in the August heat!m…pool was great!

Maybe some people on the listings have different expectations of cleanliness, but to me the property did not seem clean. Most definitely would not describe this listing as luxury as we have stayed in so many luxury properties. If you’re looking to stay somewhere with tons of very personal touches, this property may be for you but for me, I preferably do not like all the clutter. We specifically booked this property for two evenings to be able to enjoy the water as it is listed as a waterfront property. To our disappointment there no water as the lake has dried up in that area And it is quite a mess down near the dock Not easily accessible. We ended up leaving the first night because it just did not fit our expectations and ended up paying for a night that we did not stay. When I did let them know about the water level And our dissatisfaction the response I received was that they charge twice the price when water level is up. Also, when I mentioned that the property was not as clean as we expected, the host suggested that she come over there and I show her what I did not like . Well, I understand this is a gesture of good faith This is not the confrontation I was looking for on vacation. In order for this listing to be accurate, I feel like they should make some updates to their description in order to prevent another issue like we had

The house is lovely. We had a fantastic time staying there. It was a great place to hang out with family and friends, and enjoy the pool and back yard and wait for the eclipse. A great vacation.

We loved our stay in Spicewood! The property is very large with plenty of room to play. Bedrooms & bathrooms were very spacious and the bed linens provided were comfortable (everyone commented on this!). The backyard and pool were amazing as well but at the time we were there, the lake/river where this house sits was dried up so we we not able to enjoy the lake activities as we’d hoped.

Incredible house
Best equipped house we have ever booked - and we VRBO quite frequently. We cooked all of our meals there and they have literally everything. Amazing pool. Great layout. Serious downhill trek down to the water, which was shockingly low because our lack of rain. But, we loved, loved, loved this property. Highly recommend.

This property was very nice! Very relaxing! The property owner is very responsive to messages, she is very helpful with any questions. We didn’t have to leave the house, everything we needed was there. Highly recommend!

Excellent family vacation
First off the owner is the best I have ever felt with you are not clueless on any thing about the home . Joy has everything you need to know to operate home in finest detail. This home is also the cleanest we have ever stayed not to mention absolutely beautiful !!! There are not enough words to describe the greatness and location of this home. I trave a lot and I put this rental to be the number one because of the owner !!!!

Family holiday together
Property is wonderful for outside fun—fishing, swimming, fire pit. Plenty of inside room—pool table is a big plus—with lovely accoutrements and amazingly stocked kitchen. After many VRBO rentals, think the most unique, and favorable, element of this property is the responsiveness of owner/manager who is unusually willing to help make the stay amazing. Thanks!

Beautiful property and amazing hosts!
Joy was an absolute pleasure to communicate with! She was always ensuring everything was working and up to par, and would send very detailed instructions via text if needed. Instructions and labels all over the property helped immensely with various workings of the house and pool/hot tub. The pool and hot tub were amazing and everything you would need was all available and present!
The area is a 30 minute drive from downtown Austin so you would definitely need a car to get around, but we spent a lot of our time enjoying the pool and the home so it was perfect for our needs!

Joy was great to work with. The home was stunning. The pool and hot tub were perfect. I appreciated that everything was clearly labeled (lights, washing machine, etc). Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Stay
We had a fantastic stay! Just me, my spouse, and two kids. Ms Joy was very responsive and helpful. The house was incredible. Fun little details everywhere. Outdoor areas great. Location was very convenient. We got everything that was promised. Only comment, and I by no means intend this as a negative, but just beware that it is a very steep trail to and from the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was immaculate and roomier than we expected. The host was super kind and communicated instructions very well. It was nicely labeled so you don't have search for right light switch. All the rooms were a comfortable space with comfy beds. The place was beautifully decorated and the view from the back porch is stunning! Highly recommend!

Amazing home !
We held a family weekend here for a 50th birthday party! The house is immaculate! Communication with the owner was quick & easy. We had 4 couples & plenty of space! The outdoor living space here in amazing. We only wish we had more time to go fishing! There’s also a fabulous farmers market and restaurant within walking distance of the home! Directly next door. Extremely convienent!

Wonderful weekend getaway
We loved our stay in this property. It is spacious, clean, well kept and has comprehensive amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, and cooking utensils. The pool and spa were lovely, and there is an option to heat the pool. The boat dock is well maintained. I highly recommend this property.

Great home for teens
This house was conveniently located just 30 mins from Austin, I took my son and two of his friends, and it's the perfect layout for teens. They took the upstairs, really enjoyed the pool table, the pool/hot tub and fire pit. Lake was low but there was a marina just 5 minutes away, so we were still able to enjoy boating, etc. Owners were very responsive.

Perfect getaway in Hill Country
We absolutely loved our stay at this property!! Everything was just as described in the listing. Joy, the owner, was super helpful and answered any questions we had before our arrival. She even asked us our favorite candy so it was waiting upon arrival. We only had to reach out to her nice during our stay, and we got an answer back within minutes. We will definitely be back in the summer months.

Perfect in every way!
My family enjoyed every moment of our visit. This home embraces you as soon as you walk through the front door. There were plenty of games and activities to bring the family together, with plenty of room to retreat as needed. As a perfect compliment to the home, Joy was extremely responsive. Wedding weekend
We were attending a wedding on Lake Travis and were looking for a close place to stay. This house was perfect! We were within a few miles of the wedding venue, which was much closer than the blocked rooms in Marble Falls. Joy was very responsive to our sight problem at check in. This would be a perfect place to stay during the summer when you could enjoy the pool and lake!

Pace Bend Stay
We had a wonderful time visiting our friends in Austin and enjoying the rental property. The kids enjoyed the pool and we even enjoyed the river. We felt safe and everybody had a blast.

The property was everything we had expected and more. The house and property were beautiful. They openness of the living room, dining room and kitchen were great for large groups to spread out and still be together. There were multiple seating areas that were very comfortable. We prepared all of our meals so the open kitchen was great and had everything we needed and more. The pool, patio area and views were the highlight of the stay. So many options with this home. Swimming, relaxation, outdoor grilling, firepit in the evenings, pool table, large lawn and access directly to the lake. The bedrooms were all unique and very comfortable. Highly recommended for large family's or groups that need to get away and relax.

Good place to get away. It’s a hike down and back up to/from the dock but the out door area was great.

Wonderful Home, Great Location
We were looking for an overnight get-away on the lake where we could bring a boat and jet ski. This property worked out great. Plenty of room for guest to sleep and a huge property to spread out on. Owner was very helpful and available as needed.
