Le généreux plan d'étage à espaces ouverts fait du divertissement un plaisir avec une salle de jeux offrant un plaisir sans fin. À la fin d'une journée d'aventures en plein air, préparez des collations après-ski dans la cuisine de première classe, concoctez un whisky aigre dans votre bar humide et dégustez de la musique devant la cheminée murale en pierre rugissante.

Great location and space for large groups
Only complaints would be that the property needs some maintenance: The deck needs major repairs....loose railings, screws sticking out above the wood, most of the paint is worn off, one support beam below the deck is split. One bedroom queen bed has a missing or broken support slat, and is unusable on one side. Carpet has multiple major stains. Everything else on the property worked well for us.

My family of 10+ stayed for a wonderful long weekend at this great little treasure in Truckee. We felt the photos did not do the place justice. From the beautiful kitchen, to the family game room there is much to enjoy. We all slept very comfortably. The house was super clean and provided everything we needed. We had every age from 8 to 98. Everyone had an amazing time and we even could bring our fur babies. If there are any "downsides" to consider, if you have anyone who can't manage stairs, all sleeping is a flight of stairs up or down. Also the televisions are all wifi vs standard cable which was a learning curve for some in the house and the bandwidth appeared to not support multiple televisions going at a time. That said, there is plenty to do without T.V. going. We highly recommend this house for families.

Great Family Retreat for All Ages

First, it does NOT come with Tahoe Donner member-guest amenity passes which means that the clubhouse pool,, the rec center and its pool and hot tubs,, the tennis center, and the Donner Lake beach site are NOT available for use! Only the golf course (which costs $65 more per person without a member-guest card) and the bike rental/equestrian center are open to the public. Although the current listing does say there is no access to the Tahoe Donner amenities, that statement was not in the description when we rented the house (only that there was "no pool" but given that private pools are extremely are rare if not non-existent in Tahoe Donner, that statement was simply not one that translated into to no access to the private amenities. After our complaint, Avantstay did provides us with amenity cards and has now included a statement that this house does not have amenity cards, the lack of these cards is a serious drawback to the house. In addition, there is no cable TV, only a Slingbox which, while it has multiple streaming shows, lacks many of the main channels; the TV system is a technological hell that required two visits from the Avantstay people to make operational. Also, the protection TV in the family room was not operational. In addition, some of the uprights on the deck railing were easily knocked loose by one of our grandchildren leaning against two of them--about 30 feet above the ground. Avantstay was immediately responsive when we called to report the problem, but the problem should not have occurred in the first place. The above issues were significant in lessening our enjoyment of the property to the extent that we will not rent this house again.

Great Vacation Home
Good location in between Tahoe and Reno. House is huge and the kitchen is fantastic. Highly Recommended and you won't be disappointed.

This place is amazing and definitely lived up to the beautiful photos. Was able to accommodate 15 adult men, with just 2 of us sleeping on a couch and an air mattress. The kitchen is the real deal and the hot tub/deck is a great place to spend an evening after a day on the lake.

Sparrow Delivers!
This home was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was one of the most amazing ones we have ever cooked in, and the living spaces were roomy and more than comfortable. The beds were absolutely divine to sleep on and the master bath was a work of art. The only 2 negatives i would say that are the games downstairs did not work properly and there was no way to hook up the cable. These two things would not prevent me from staying at the property in the future in the slightest. Amazing vacation home!
