The hostel is located in the center of Quepos. All facilities are in walking distance. It offers secure parking options. A kitchen (but no stove) and a big table were provided. Everything was clean. A/C available.

When we arrived, we didn't know how to get inside as we didn't have any further information. We called the owner, but she didn't show up. A lady next door contacted another person who finally let us in. The room was quite dark and the smell of cigarette smoke was present, which was unpleasant. Also, the room had nothing but a bed.

This apartment has a lot of potential, however at this point I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

- They gave me a different room than I booked. After telling them multiple times that it wasn’t the room that I’ve booked, they changed me to the correct one. - Ventilator: apparently the ventilator they gave me wasn’t working. I woke op in the middle of the night with the smell of burning plastic. It gave me a severe headache that lasted for days. After complaining they gave me a different room though. - Don’t wash your clothes there, they ask ridiculous prices

This place is okay for budget travellers just passing through for the night.

The hospitality was sorely lacking here. I arrived early and waited patiently for an hour for the check-in time. Then knocked on the locked entrance several times with no response. I finally had to phone the owner inside to come out and open the door. Once inside, I saw that one of the proprietors was someone I'd seen outside earlier while waiting. You'd have thought that would have been enough to prepare them for my (booked) arrival! Oh, and they rather aggressively demanded payment right away.

Kitchen could have more and better equipment. Almost everything of the plastic cutlery and utensils was moldy.

It’s an apartament with 2 different bedrooms. The bedroom is small but you can sleep there well. The kitchen doesn’t have a stove so you can’t really cook there.

The whole apartment had a strange smell of mold. It doesn’t have any outside area to sit. I saw the biggest cocroach in my life in the kitchen. I know it can happen anywhere but in my case it made me leave earlier than I planned.-

I personally like the local neighborhood feel and had great communication with the owner and staff. It was also nice to be able to cook simply and have my own space.

It in the room (to be expected when you have a room without the AC), nicely equipped kitchen however there was no stove / pots for actual cooking.

it was very hot in the room at night because the room was kinda under the ground and not much fresh air gets into it
