Location excellent and although it is next to a (very good by the way) mexican restaurant, it was quiet. Very clear information about where and how to pick up the keys and get in. Stunning sea views. The apartment was airy and immaculately clean with plenty of space in the lounge and on the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed and the pre-arrival information about the type of coffee machine for capsules was much appreciated. There is also detailed information about which recycling goes where and there are bins at the side of the building which is very practical. There is a wonderfully comfortable boxbed in the bedroom. The Lift is also always a plus for me! There is on-site parking and it is a short stroll to the marina and the town, numerous seaside restaurants and to the ferry pickup spot. The apartment has numerous Bodensee travel guides which was very helpful. We will definitely go back!

The parking is very tight and you need to reverse in, but once we wortked it out it was easy. The road is a bit noisy but the apartment is airy so no need to sleep with the windows open and with them closed there was absolutely no problem. There are no cleaning materials in the apartment and I usually like to clean up a bit before I leave but that is a detail.

Access to the town is very convenient with a 10 minute walk along the Lake. The balcony has superb views of Bodensee and is the highlight for those wanting to relax or use it as a remote office. The apartment was very well equipped and clean. The free underground parking is a great advantage as street parking would have been a nightmare. It is ideal for a 3 night stay and the WiFi worked well.

The property sent many messages with instructions...mostly in German. As we had a busy trip and a long tiring drive, I did not read the earlier (admittedly very comprehensive) instructions, only the last message. I feel these could be simplified. I spent 20 mins trying to contact the office as the code that appeared on the booking was in fact the apartment security code. It was only by co-incidence that the cleaner came by and accessed the keys for me. I later found the key box code in previous messages ...so it was provided. After that it was smooth access to the apartment. Be aware that the guest registration form needs to be filled in and this is a government requirement. By the time we got this sorted out to get the Bodensee card it was time to leave so never used it.

The bed was too soft and small. Cleanliness wasn't the best. Covered parking is nice but not for SUVs and a bit tricky for full-size cars. We were not able to enter the building on arrival, the remote system wasn't working. We got lucky and some neighbors let us in.

The view was beautiful here and the apartment had everything you needed for a short stay. The accomodations were comfortable and very easy to access (key code, so no need to worry about arriving at an odd hour.)

The apartment definitely had a slight smell of cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking rental.

Fantastic view, private shore/garden and comfortable, warm accommodation. A perfect place for relaxation. Also, proximity to two excellent restaurants (Seehof & Lukullum)within 5 mins walk. The City train/bus station is only an 8-10 min walk away, with easy access to the Friedrichshafen airport, Lindau & lovely Überlingen. Unlike many holiday apartments, Lakeside had a large (55"?) TV, with Netflix/YouTube available which was really appreciated. The wifi was fast & reliable too 🙂 We had a small issue during our stay which was rectified the same day whilst we were out sightseeing. Petra & Marcus were absolutely brilliant to communicate with, and were very helpful. They responded quickly via Booking.com messenger. Lakeside is highly recommended.

We didn't intend to do any cooking, but if you do, be aware the kitchen preparation area is tiny. There's enough space to rustle up quick cold snacks & drinks :). Conveniently there is a big fridge/freezer to store beers & bubbles! A few areas of paintwork were chipped, perhaps they could do with freshening up? Again, it's not something that really mattered to us.

The location is perfect as well as the view. The Appartment is well furnished even with books and games!
