New and clean! Great and kind crew
The noise of air conditioning , the AC tower is very. Close to the bed

This hotel beat all of my expectations! Personal outreach from staff, lovely rooms and open spaces, and the CMU campus with all the green space and walking paths were right out the back door. I did not have a chance to try to restaurant or coffee shop, but would guess the customer service and offerings matched what I already experienced.
Pet fee is high. Each dog is $75. That is a lot for a multi-night stay, and crazy for a one night stay. I do of course understand they have to do a much deeper clean, but my two dogs did not come close to costing them $150.

An older refurbished hotel. Updated to meet most modern desires, while retaining historic hotel atmosphere!
Met all our needs during our three night stay.
We dealt with the carry in of luggage from across the street parking lot.

Nice new area
It was fine slightly off the beaten path

Great location, clean, friendly staff.
The restaurant menu online through Google was not the menu they were serving. The menu was limited and just ok, not great food as we were lead to believe. No room service, you have to call in an order and then go get it.

Stayed for one night after dropping my daughter at CMU. I loved being right on the campus. The bed was crazy comfortable. The room was spotless. The view of campus from the terrace on the 4th floor is terrific. We took lots of great photos up there. Highly recommend this hotel and the restaurant/bar. We didn't use the fitness center but it looked nice.

Very friendly staff who made checking in and out simple. Super clean and comfortable room.
No breakfast other than a few pastries at an in-house coffee shop.

The hotel is located in a quiet area right by the campus. It was clean and they had a treat for the dogs which was nice.
When I booked the hotel online the headline was "pet friendly". It was not an inexpensive hotel ($290/night), but the information online seemed like it would be ideal when traveling with our 2 dogs. However, I received a phone prior to our arrival asking if I was aware of their pet policy.... which is $75 per dog per night and it was too late to cancel. With our additional "pet friendly" fee our hotel stay was $450 for one night! The cost of our stay was not worth the absurd amount we paid and we will not return. Afterwards, I did look online at the hotel's website and it took 10 minutes before I could find their pet policy. Any fees of this consequence should at the very least be mentioned, if not added to your reservation up front, not after. I also found it interesting that I was called 2 days before our reservation. It was too late to cancel, but I can only assume they wanted to get any confrontation out of the way prior to arrival....

Hotel, room, parking, good & welcome chocolate were perfect! After a 5 week road trip in our trailer decided to splurge. Room 317 had a great View & location. The problem is that either the housekeeping room next door woke us up early, or the housekeeper across the hall cleaning. Other than that, a wonderful stay.
Housekeeping needs to be trained to be quiet in the early morning. Also, yo take notice of the “Do not disturb” signs on the doors you are cleaning across from.

Modern and clean property.
Overpriced, overrated and in an odd location.

Staff: Kind people always on duty.
Pet-friendly: they had clean food and water bowl in the room. A dog bed and healthy treat as well.
Cleanliness: I black light my rooms and this room was CLEAN!
Bathroom: Shower was wonderful. Towels were soft. Raised toilets are a nice touch.

Nice place will stay there again if I visit my son.
I was given a room right off the library and across from public bathrooms. I asked to be moved and was denied. Just feel like there could have been more done to accommodate.

Location & Quality
it would be nice if you offered room service rather than take out from the restaurant — real dishes and glassware.
