Great location to iron bridge. Walking distance to everywhere. I would definately recommend to anyone.

I've just had a 2 night stay at the forgemaster house and I can honestly say it was brilliant on arrival we found welcome gifts 🎁 in the kitchen the place was nice clean and may I say warm as the weather as been so cold out the beds were spotless and so comfy. I had two great nights sleep and just felt so at home 2 nights wasn't enough and I will definitely be rebooking a visit here in the summer and would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone thank u for having us x

Only one blanket for double bed (for two old men), problems with heating regulation in some rooms.

House was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of kitchen equipment and was nice to have a couple of parking spaces. Owner left a lovely cake, bottle of wine, milk, eggs and bread which were a nice touch. Other basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil etc were all also available for our use. The beds were all very comfortable.

The smoke detector in the hall randomly went off at 2 am and again at 3 am which wasn't pleasant! The cooker hood extraction didn't work and neither did the wall extractor in the kitchen, these need repairing/rectifying.

The size of the property and how beautifully set out it was, we were staying for an event at the Telford international centre which is only 10 minutes drive away, and there is a shop just across the road which is very convenient! The hosts were also nice enough to leave a welcoming cake which was lovely!

dirty kitchenware , dirty pots and pans, dirty cutlery Dog poo bag by the side of the entrance door. chipped dishes and to top it all up flood zone, we vacated the property one night early sent emails for the landlord with questions that we not answered. today , we receive a call, re a q we had during our stay!

Unable to control heating as thermostat didn’t work. Had to manually adjust for comfort and switch off at night so no hot water for washing. Not enough seating in lounge for all guests. We had to take turns to sit on floor. Crockery old chipped and cracked only four usable mugs. We had to get more

the house sleeps 8, there were only 6 of us but not everything catered for 6

Large property in a fantastic location. We had a lovely weekend with our children and their partners. Good local walks. Large kitchen with some lovely treats provided. Lots of restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk from the house. Will definitely recommend the Forgemaster's House and hope to return.

Location was excellent. Beds and bedding comfy and clean.

The unclean state of the utensils and oven in the kitchen. Not providing tea towels . Kitchen light switch fell off and was dangerous . Not providing a sun umbrella on the very open garden. Not telling us that the workmen were digging the road from 7.30 in the morning. The state of the wood work on the outside doors and general untidiness of the garden and outside areas.

It is a very nice place to stay in, very clean, spacious, everything you need. In town so 5mins walk to the bridge, 2 car spaces. Garden. Near by Co-op so no need to pack any food. Welcome pack with milk and bread, and a delicious chocolate cake was there for us. The kitchen is huge, again all you need, washing machine, dishwasher, big cooker etc … Living room is also very good size as well as all double rooms. Too room with master bedroom is a luxury. This is My second stay in the house and if free next time I am in the area, will definitely book it again.

Unfortunately didn’t find an umbrella for the garden table, was so hot this weekend that we could have done with one.
