CABIN IN THE WOODS , FAMILY AND PET FRIENDLY
Maison isolée sur le thème de la cabine dans un cadre boisé. La maison est au bout de la route, donc c'est très calme sans circulation. Rampe de mise à l'eau Fairfield à seulement 3 km pour lancer votre bateau pour la pêche ou la navigation de plaisance, à proximité d'une zone de baignade. La maison dispose d'un grand parking pour les véhicules et les bateaux. Il y a une terrasse couverte avec grill à l'arrière de la maison, donnant sur le feu de camp et les bois. Si vous aimez la nature, il y a beaucoup à voir et à faire. Il y a un mur de la guerre civile à voir, et nous avons beaucoup de papillons, d'oiseaux et de colibris. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour chasser, vous pouvez voir Corp Land depuis la fenêtre arrière. Parc de camping-car avec dépanneur avec appâts à seulement 1 mile away.

Did not expect the back ride to be as nice as it was.
Lots of fire wood, lots of room to sit around the fire pit and plenty of chair provided. Nicely lit. Lovely back covered deck. Great for grilling and out door dining

The cabin was perfect! Just what we were looking for. Our family love the location, how peaceful it was. Jerry and Deb really go all out to make sure there guest are comfortable during your stay in there property. They provide a lot of little extra things so you feel more at home. We will be looking forward to booking with them again in the future.

Secluded location, plenty of room for the family. Jerry and Debi seemed nice through our online communication and called us on the morning of our arrival to give details related to staying at the property. They thought of something for everyone. Our Little Piece of Serenity
We really enjoyed our time at Cabin in the Woods. We were looking for a quiet place to ride out fireworks, which traumatize our rescue pup so badly. This space was exactly what I was hoping for. No pupper trauma, just peace and quiet. Knowing our hosts have big hearts for animals was a definite win for us. They helped make our pup feel welcomed, with special bowls and a mat, waiting when we arrived. The back deck is amazing, and the fans and lights are such wonderful additions. We drank our morning coffee out there one thunderstorm morning, and it was so nice. We enjoyed the quality grillware provided. The kitchen had so many more amenities than many we’ve stayed at. It was a nice touch to see storage bags and ware for leftovers, and travel home, as well as all the spices and condiments provided. That saved us a lot of packing space. The beds were very comfortable as well. Our hosts, Jerry and Debi, were always a phone call or message away if we had any questions, and they were quick to respond.

This place is even better than it’s pictures. Well stocked too. They had everything you could think to need in this place. The only critique I have is there may be a leak in the back bathroom creating a bit of a mold smell in the bathroom and the bunk room next to it.

Our Stay
We travel often and this property is older but very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked which is a rarity. The only negative I have is that it is very far off the grid and the area is a little run down, but the home was very nice and the host was very helpful.

Great weekend getaway
We were looking for a place halfway between my in-laws and where we live in KC. My adult children hadn't seen their grandparents during the pandemic and this cabin was a great place for us to get together. The backyard and back deck were great for enjoying the nice spring weather! The cabin had enough space and everything we needed!

Rented for work instead of hotel
Stayed there for work. Everything was great. Close enough to town that we could run get food or groceries. Owners are very nice. We were 4 men who work outside, we tried our best to keep it clean. It was
good to come in and be able to have a place to sit, cook and eat.

Wonderful time with good friends!
Our stay was wonderful! Jerry was a wealth of information for boating and the lake! Pretty easy to find and close to a dock where we were able to launch the boat. Jerry and Debi provide small things that go a long way… like the cloth bags for beach towels, bars of soap, games, and bug spray! The backyard was beautiful! We definitely will be back!

Great property and Amazing Hosts!
We had an amazing time at this property. It was just what we needed in terms of peace and quiet and quality family time. The cabin featured everything you could possibly need and more! It is located just a mile or two from a great section on Lake Truman, with a really nice boat launch. Jerry and Debi even told us about a little secret swimming spot that we visited several times. The backyard offered a cozy fireplace, with market lights and tiki torches, it was the perfect way to end our very busy days. They also had several games that we enjoyed playing as a family. However, by far, the highlight of this property are the hosts, Jerry and Debi! We as a family said many times that they were probably the nicest, most accommodating people we have ever met. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy and are all about making their guests happy. We would highly recommend this property and we will be back the next time we visit the Ozarks area. Thanks for making our stay so memorable Jerry and Debi!

Bestquiet getaway ever!
We had so many great experiences here! Alot of bonding time. The firepit is a great place to gather your family. If u like to fish, there's great fishing spots all around, and a small trip down to the bank in the back yard. The owners are amazing. They go oit of their way to make it comfortable for you.Thank you for a great experience.
