Our stay at this property was perfect for our need. This Spearfish trip was for a family members funeral. There was room in the home for a few of us to gather together between events. This home is well kept. Everything is functional and all you need is there. We appreciated the cleanliness and the comfortable beds. Our interaction with the owner was pleasant and Scott was very accommodating. We needed to extend the stay for one of our family members and he readily arranged that for us.
We will definitely stay here again on future trips. The location is handy to whatever direction you go, it’s private and well maintained.

This was a great stay all around. The town of Spearfish is beautiful and has great places to eat. Spearfish canyon is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been and the hiking was excellent. Scott was a great host.

We are close to retiring. We wanted to research spearfish as a retirement destination. We found the town to be clean and welcoming. Spearfish canyon is a beautiful scenic walking and driving area, very close to the house. The stores and restaurants are close. Within walking or a short drive. The property was quite, clean, and very reasonably priced. Would be glad to recommend to friends and family.

We enjoyed staying here so much. We would sit and plan our day either on the deck or at the little kitchen table. We had a few meals here everything we needed. We enjoyed the deck in the evening. Even seen deer walking down the street.

This is a great place to rent close to all that is going on in Spearfish. There is a private porch area surrounded by hedges with a rabbit that sometimes makes an appearance. The two bedrooms were plenty of room for our family of three. Although some of the reviews stated that decor is dated, we found it charming. We came to the area to explore the black hills so we didn't spend long periods of time in the house, but the only issue can be that in the living room there are only two chairs, so the seating is limited if you are trying to watch television. Although there are plenty of chairs around the table that can be used. The owner is very nice and accommodating, unlike some of the places we have stayed didn't have many clean up rules, although we did tidy up.

The property was great, had everything we needed and Scott was a excellent host. We went there for Sturgis bike week and Spearfish was the perfect location. It was close enough to everything, had a great downtown area, but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Would definately stay there again.

This house (half duplex) was great with the owner Scott living right next door. Everything was provided (including washer/dryer, tv and WiFi) and Scott offered to help with anything else I might have needed. Scott was very helpful with guidance and directions for places to go and things to see in the area. I could not have wished for a better stay! Thanks Scott!

Great location! Very neat and clean.
Tried to change dates two weeks earlier because we had to shorten our trip by one day. Stayed two nights but was charged for three. I was able to cancel my other VRBO in Pierre with no issues. Other than that we loved staying there.

We enjoyed our stay. The place is very clean and it is centrally located to be able to hit some of the sites in the surrounding area. We had a small problem that we reported to the owner and it was fixed within a few hours. We found it hard for us both to sleep in one bed because we rolled to the middle of the bed. I would recommend this place.

Great Stay
It’s a great property close to downtown Spearfish. It has a private outdoor sitting area and it’s very quiet and peaceful. Scott is a great host and is doing a great job managing this property. Our top concern when renting is cleanliness, and we were not disappointed. Very clean! We will be back!
