The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The apartment is gorgeous and cosy. It is equipped with all comforts, coffee & tea facilities, clean and soft towels, comfortable bed, equipped kitchen . The position is convenient and it was very easy to move around by bike or car. I would defintely go back.

The location is excellent, being close to a train station with quick, regular service to Amsterdam. The apartment is cosy but also has space to eat and relax.

The lack of a toaster is absolutely the only minor thing I found.

Heemstede is just one train station too far for Amsterdam Region ticket. You can still use the ticket with buses though 😊

My fiancé had to travel to the Netherlands for work training and I took a few days off to go with him and visit Amsterdam. Choosing this place was great because it's very close to Amsterdam, 20min by train. It's quiet neighborhood, great to rest after a long day of walking in Amsterdam. And in Heemstede near the apartment there's everything you might need at a walking distance: cafés, restaurants, bus and train station, take away Indonesian ( they even heat your food!) and a great Italian ice cream shop. Haarlem is also very nearby and definitely worth a visit if you have time. As for the accomodation, it's a comfortable and nicely decorated studio, and downstairs you also have a toilet. We felt that everything was organized with love and care and the apartment had everything we needed. As for our hosts, they were this great couple who spoke multiple languages. The lady, Reni helped us with useful information about Amsterdam and clarified any questions and helped with our needs. They're just a normal sweet couple and we really enjoyed meeting them! Oh, and we also met their lovely dog, she's a labradoodle and was the cutest! 10/10, We definitely recommend it and if we return to Amsterdam we'll choose this place again for sure!

It is a lovely apartment with a kitchen and lots of space. Walking distance from the Beahuis & BloemenhoveKliniek clinic and the train station. Good options for restaurants and coffee shops. Best thing about the apartment is the owners. They are a lovely couple, super helpful and kind. They made our trip much more memorable.

We were received very nicely on arrival and with a cool drink. We arrived with the bicycles from Germany and were allowed to store them safely in the garden. The owners recommended us a lot of great things and were happy to help us. Although the apartment is in the same house, we felt comfortable and were able to relax. Amsterdam is only 20 minutes away by train and Zandvoort was also very quickly reached by bus. We would love to come back :)

we were in Heemstede for 5 days and are more than just thrilled. the apartment is furnished with so much love and you feel very comfortable. From the equipment there is everything you need for such a vacation and the location is also great. I can only praise the hosts, they are just really warm and great. the evening together with a glass of wine was also very interesting and we learned a lot. many thanks to Reni and her husband! We will be back definitely!!!

The beds were extremely comfy, would recommend. Rooms were clean. Everything that you need was there. The house owners are helpful.

When we booked the Appartement, it said in the description that we would be alone but when we arrived we came to conclusion that the house owners will stay with us in the same house on the ground floor. It was okay but unexpected.
