The room was spotless with an amazing shower. Ted at the front desk was excellent! He knew so much about the property and location. Everyone was welcoming!

The breakfast options are very thin but they are made to order. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from the hall and above.

Hello, my girlfriend and I recently stayed at Element by Westin in Kansas City/Overland Park on Sunday 04/04/2021. When we arrived in our hotel room the room was not anything like we were expecting or how our rooms at hotels have been in the past. Upon seeing our room I went and notified the manager that was working that evening, but nothing ended up changing. We noticed the room not only seemed to not be properly cleaned, but also we had no soap. Even in 2021 we are still in a pandemic, and we were very wary of staying in a hotel already and discovering this as soon as we entered our room did not calm our fears one bit. The staff on duty could not have cared less that we were unsatisfied, and we have both been loyal members of Marriott and always use Booking.com. I tried to talk to the front desk the next morning about my issues and asked for either a credit or a refund, but I was told to contact booking.com instead. On top of all this I was charged $146.00 for my room when I reserved the room on booking.com for $114.00 I would like to request a full refund or credit for the issues we experienced, and I don't think either of us will be booking through booking.com anytime soon. Thanks for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
