Great house! Well appointed and very comfortable. Great gathering spaces for dining and games.

It was my first time to sun valley in the winter and while we absolutely loved the town and community, we were so so on the house. Here is a list of the good and the wish it was different. They are all small items that could make the stay a bit more enjoyable. One of the most appealing features is the hot tub right out the back door. Such a nice benefit!!! It was working perfectly but like many other comments on this topic, the pine needles make the water green. It is what it is and having the pine tree block the snow falling down is pretty amazing. The downside of this hot tub is the device that helps remove and put the cover back on is busted. This makes getting it back on a 2 person job. Another strong appeal was the use of a 2 car garage. Both stalls were fully functional and heated (really nice touch), however they were using the 2nd bay for storage. We tried moving things around but came up a few inches shy of getting both cars in. One big positive was the kitchen and sitting areas. Plenty of room and all the amenities you would typically have at home. Only request to owners is they find a way to get the draft a bit more tamed down at the big table. When sitting next to the windows, you feel it on your back. All the bedrooms were fine. A bit outdated but you always get what you pay for. The last item to be aware of is trying to figure out the HVAC. Multiple highly educated adults couldn’t figure it out and it was a tad frustrating to find the right temp. I said it earlier, you get what you pay for. Great location and high potential.

We had an excellent 3 night stay for 9 of us and had a wonderful time. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds were in good shape and the unit was clean. There were no towels upstairs, but the master had plenty of extra and we got by just fine. I wanted to sharpen the knives that were there, but I could not find any kind of sharpener. We did cook most of our own meals to save $ in Sun Valley. The heat was somewhat difficult to work with. We did get it to where we were comfortable. Thanks for the great place--we would use it again!!!

We rented this house for a small family gathering with ages ranging from 7 years old to 72. The house is set up in a way that we could relax if wanted, go to bed early, or play cards into the wee hours of the morning and not bother anyone. It's nestled into a beautiful neighborhood but does not feel jammed in between houses. The house is close to a golf course and a pristine bike path as well. We'd stay again!

Good house, nice quiet location, ample space.

This was a great place for the family to stay and relax. It's in a quiet neighborhood, yet it feels secluded. The place is big and the areas of the house are separated enough so that those who'd like to relax, can do so while others can hang out. The house is close to a gorgeous bike path too!

The property was the right size and location for our group of 7 “Senior Citizens.” Given the asking price, there were several small issues with the 102 Mayleaf property that need to be addressed by the property owners: 1. The central heating in the living room seemed to stay at a constant temperature no matter how low we turned the thermostat. (If we missed something in the “Home Instructuons,” the instructions need to be simplified and/or clarified for us “Seniors.”) 2. The lock on the dining room door to the deck needs to be replaced or lubricated. (It was difficult to lock at night.) 3. The gas BBQ grill on the deck doesn’t work. (The burners are clogged with burnt grease dripping.) 4. The hot tub “lift-up” cover is broken. (It took two adult men to remove and replace the cover when ever we wanted to use the hot tub.) 5. There is a water leak in the laundry room due to heavy snow accumulation on the roof. (Fabian did a great job of getting the snow shoveled from the roof by the time our group arrived. The leak was not noticeable during our stay.) 6. The driveway, front steps, ramp and deck were snow-packed. This is understandable given the heavy snow year, but the driveway and front steps were treacherous. In general, the home was cozy, comfortable and convenient. It is just a bit over-priced given the age and amenities. Kudos to Fabian and his team for making sure the hot tub was clean and operational for our 3-night stay. We would definitely rent an Encore VRBO property again.👍🏻😊🙏🏻

We spent a few days here on a Sun Valley ski trip and it was an amazing property to come back to after a day on the slopes. It’s close to the center of town and the resort and has all the amenities to feel right at home. The hot tub was absolutely a plus to rest our sore muscles!

Overall good, but spa was dirty and the water smelled. Took 2 days to fix, they then showed up unannounced at dark, roaming around the backyard. A little scary. Heating system is difficult to work.

Great property for our group of 12. Great kitchen that was well stocked. We had a very nice stay.

We stayed here for the weekend of our wedding. There was plenty of room for the kids, games, space to get ready, and room to sit and relax as a family. The surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous as well, we ended up taking photos down the road. We will definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We met our best friends here and our families absolutely loved the property. Close proximity to the village, downtown and the mountain. Amazing place to stay and enjoy the comforts of home.

We had friends come down from Canada to visit us after a business trip at Sun Valley Inn. Our stay was for 4 days and it was fantastic. The house was everything we had hoped it would be. We spent a few evenings on the deck with the Hot tub and Fire pit. The 3 couples staying at the house all had private areas when needed. Everything was perfect. The management company representative (Fabian) was very accommodating.

The size of the house and location is great for a family stay. Easy drive to shops and restaurants in the town of Ketchum and Sun Valley

Overall, nice house but needs a lot of help on cleaning. My dad found a leaf blower in the garage and had fun cleaning up the patios, front and back. Communication with the prop manager should have been much better. The "bedroom" in the attic area with the tower of toddler mattresses shouldn't count as a place for anyone to sleep. For the cost of the rental for 3 nights, things should have been so much better.

We were so excited to stay at this home in Sun Valley and it was a total let down. The home inside and out was dirty and the advertised hot tub was unusable our entire stay - the water was disgusting and smelled moldy. The maintenance guy showed up at 7:30am on our day to checkout, it was so bad the maintenance guy had to drain and scrub the entire thing. Not acceptable. Upon arrival we had to message owner for more toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and dish washer soap. almost every dish and pan we got out of the cabinet was dirty and needed to be washed before use. Not to mention they where a number of glasses cracked that someone could have easily cut them selves on. Grease all over the stove and hood of the oven. Outside trash bin was over flowing when we arrived, so had to leave trash bags in garage for several days. Kitchen sink faucet needs repaired. Back right burner on stove doesn't work. Mold in upstairs bathroom shower and water damage behind upstairs toilet. The upstairs was insufferably hot for my kids - had to go buy a fan to help - no fans in entire home. Cobwebs on the ceiling in the stairwell. Giant gash on bunkie board in upstairs bedroom. Garage is filthy - trash piles, could only park on one side of garage. All bikes had flat tires. We paid a lot of money for our stay and this was the worst experience we have had staying at a home through VRBO. Beware!!!

Overall an excellent experience. Very spacious and was clean upon arrival. Easy for 3 infants/toddlers to have their own sleeping space with 3 couples. Would recommend a few things - installing AC for upstairs and game room, upgrading dryer or warning guests that it takes a long time to dry, stocking items like dishwasher pods more. Community amenities like the pool is wonderful - especially village pool location. Hot tub reaches temp only when jets are turned on.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house with 3 couples and 3 kids. Plenty of room to spread out. We’ll stocked kitchen and it was convenient having a kids table and an adults table for meals:) We enjoyed having a separate rooms for each kid as we used the large master closet and “game” room for little ones. My suggestion would be to install AC for the game room and upstairs bedrooms. It got quite hot with all the windows. Stocking dishwasher pods for the full week would have been helpful and getting a response about that would have been nice instead of being ignored. Hot tub worked well for the most part. Remember to turn on jets as well for hot tub to reach desired temperature. Downstairs dryer is a bit slow and extra dry time is needed. It was easy to communicate with Evolve team with questions for the most part. It was very nice to get the Elkhorn community amenities - we used the Village pool a lot and it was lovely! House is located in a wonderful quiet neighborhood. There’s lots of pollen outside but I understand little can be done about it.

Our family of 7 really enjoyed this beautiful home. It was perfect for our winter vacation. The only disappointment for us was the hot tub. It’s full of pine needles and sap (it sits under a massive pine tree) and sitting in it was very uncomfortable. The manager of the home was very accommodating and was able to get us into the community hot tub, so it worked out great. Be sure to request the community hot tub before your stay. We would definitely stay again!

We love coming here every year. The house is big with plenty of space to spread out. Lots of beds for everyone in our group. Great location!

This was a great place for our family retreat. We really enjoyed the fire place in the family room. Great dining room space, where we could eat large family meals. The bike trails are really close and we enjoyed this too.

Very nice property. It would of been nice to have more wash cloths and soap in the bathrooms. Some of the ligh switches and heat control knobs were difficult to locate. Very nice house.

Beautiful home in fabulous neighborhood. Didn’t realize no a/c. Most of house fine, but upstairs room and game room really got hot. Maybe a box fan for up there? There were a few problems. Spa water smelled moldy. Master shower head needs updating. However, overall loved the house and had a fabulous trip.
