Loved staying here even just for one night. Perfect location in the Village that is close to so many restaurants and not too far from everything else in town. The room was clean and super roomy. Would be a great place for a family of 4 to stay!!

The location was was great. Many eating places within walking distance. The room was very spacious. It was a little warm during the day, but cooled off at night. The host are super friendly and helpful

We absolutely loved staying here and will be back again and again. We needed a late check in and the woman we were in communication with was very helpful and understanding. We have two little ones so being within walking distance from most stuff was just perfect for us. The stove didn’t work the night we got there so we had to wait until the next morning to get it fixed. The maintenance manager was called elsewhere so he didn’t come until much much later but the whole time the office manager was in communication with us and was extremely nice!! The kitchen could have been stocked with more supplies (maybe a cookie sheet and blender and kitchen towels at least). The bed and pillows were super comfy (on the soft side if you like that). Clean bathroom and shower and huge closet. Didn’t hear anyone in any other units so pretty quiet (or at least couldn’t hear anyone over our own volume…) Overall, could not be beat for the price and location and comfort.

We stayed in the Black Bear Room on the 2nd floor above the office. Overall, a good restful decent stay. The Black Bear Room is a little bit dated and could use some upgrades and refurbishing. The carpet is a bit old and grimy. The place could be cleaned a bit more by housekeeping. The place was a bit dusty. It gets cold in Big Bear at night and the heater kept us warm and toasty. The property is in the Village, so everything is walking distance.

The location is exceptionally located in Big Bear Village. Easy parking, easy access to local shops and restaurants and an easy walk to the lake. The building is older but the property was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would select the property again.

To be honest the pictures were very accurate, they were the exact American Black Bear cabin. however, the description left out significant details, important details. For example this is an apartment not a cabin. And it is upstairs! Very narrow steep stairs, so if you have bad knees and can't walk up stairs this was important to include and yet the description implies it is an authentic first floor cabin. It was clean, not the Hilton but if you have children it's perfect. Comfy beds. Bring blankets in the winter. The shower water does change temperature when you flush the toilet or someone else is in there. The location is five stars, 10 out of 10 & two thumbs up!! 👍

Hubby and I had a great stay right in the Village. We were able to walk to dining and shopping. This cottage had everything we needed and more. It was clean. It was spacious. It was quiet. We never heard the others guests. I would recommend the Village Inn!!

Great location and easy to work with the property manager! Had a great time! I will say that maybe the futon needs some straps to stay upright but other than that a cute spot!

This property is walking distance to everything. However, it was a bit noisy since our room faced the street. The kids weren't super comfortable on their beds but the master bed was comfortable.
