Condo was perfect. Very clean with great views. Open floor plan with plenty of space for family. Will be coming back.

This unit was perfect for our stay at Fort Walton. Exceptionally large balcony with plenty of seating to observe the beautiful views. It’s a great resort and location. The private beach is wonderful and the pools are clean, spacious and easy to access.

The location was perfect. Security was on point. However, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Towels were not plentiful and they were very scratchy. The condo was not as clean as others we have rented (3 in the past year). The microwave, garbage disposal and ice/water dispenser on the fridge did not work. While I will definitely rent through Vacasa again, I will not stay at this location.

We enjoyed our stay, but would not stay in this unit again. There was a lack of communication on change of codes. I was originally sent an app to download to help me with my vacation. I did download the app and load my reservation, however the app information is not kept current or updated in a timely fashion. Upon and leading up to arrival, I received text messages with updated information. I did not however, cross reference the codes. I used the ones on the app because it was what I was told would help me through out my stay. I finally, after not being able to access the unit or the pool and beach area called and was told the codes were in the welcome text. I then cross referenced and found they were indeed different from the ones on the app. I spoke to multiple residence and renters, the codes are a source of frustration among them as well as parking. Our parking spot was not clearly marked or communicated to me clearly, parking was very confusing. I was supposed to have a parking pass on the bar on arrival, I did not. I had to call Vacasa and ask where to park so I would not get towed and also ask where was my parking pass? Someone brought is about 20 min later and still could not give me proper information on where I could park. After getting in the home, we quickly found out the cable was not working in the living room and the back bedroom. We again called. They sent a repair man the next morning, he determined it was not something he could fix, they would have to call the cable company. The microwave was broken and they had a temporary one on the counter top to use, personally though it looked tacky. The ice maker in the freezer was broken as well. They do not offer ice on site anywhere. I was told if I went to the store down the road and bought ice they would reimburse me. There was nothing horrible just lots of inconveniences that I do not feel I should have had to deal with considering the amount of money I paid to stay here. I would not rent this unit again.

We were having difficulty finding something upscale in the Ft Walton Beach area and were glad to have found this while searching. The condo is very nice, just as pictured. Well stocked and plenty of room for my family of 7. The view was perfect and chairs were always ready for us at the beach. My only issue was with the inability to book early check-in in advance. The day of booking Vacasa told me it’d be $100 and then said it couldn’t be booked in advance. Turns out it was not an option for us at all. The 4pm check in time was terrible for our 8am flight arrival. We thought we’d spend the time at the beach/pool, but it was raining. The property doesn’t have a lobby or indoor common area. So, just be aware if arriving early. The unit seemed to be clean well, but we did find a few areas missed. There were long blonde hairs on the sofa bed and the kitchen counters weren’t wiped down well. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It’s a great place for a family getaway. Although there were lots of young children, we barely heard noise and were able to have a relaxing vacation.

The unit was very spacious and beautifully decorated. 4th floor views were amazing. We loved all of the amenities as well. Blu 406 was perfect.

Spacious accommodations right on the beach. Family of 3 loved it. Private, quiet, and felt safe. The view from the balcony was wonderful. Great for Dolphin viewing. Will definitely make Blu 406 my first choice for beachfront relaxation. Thanks to the other reviewers recommendations. See you soon!

Blu 406 is clean and simple with great windows, views and a porch right on the Gulf. Nice set up with bunks for kids and room for everyone to spread out. Easy to live in for a week if you’re working or on vacation.

Very clean. Very spacious. Great view. We loved staying there. Can’t wait to come back next year.

The Blu Condos are great as they are on a quiet beach and away from the hustle and bustle, but yet close enough to Destin to get to all the restaurants and entertainment that you'd want. Unit 406 was incredibly clean and comfortable. It is bright and spacious to a point where you could just spread out and have your own space. Decor was modern, updated, and it just felt "high end". We DID NOT want to leave. We will definitely return to the Blu Condos again in the near future. It was just great! Some pointers for those visiting: - There are appliances, pots, pans, silverware there. But, you will need to bring things like Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Dish Towels, Salt/Pepper, Scrubber for dishes, Dishwasher tablets, trash bags, baggies, cling wrap, and Detergent/Fabric Softener for the laundry. - I loved that they had large carts you could use to take luggage to/from the unit. They are all located down by the elevators in the parking garage. - If you need extra beach chairs/umbrellas, just wait until you get there and let the rental place at the beach know that you need more. It's not cheap, but you don't need to worry about it until you get there. - We were interested in maybe getting bikes. But, this is not in an area that bikes are real feasible to use. I wouldn't worry about it.

Everything about this condo was great!

This place was so beautiful and convenient close to everything and right on the beach. Very clean and peaceful. Equipped with everything you need to cook. The condo is right on the beach with beautiful views. The only complaint is that the master bedroom sheets had an odd smell I would suggest using fabric softener or different detergent they did not smell clean. and there was no sponge to wash dishes. That’s the only thing other than that we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. Unit was very clean when we arrived. View is spectacular. Used all the amenities - pool, hot tub, fire pit, workout facility and grills.

What a beautiful unit! This is our 7th trip staying on Okaloosa Island and our first stay at Blu. We will definitely be back! The accessibility to the beach is the best we have experienced. The safety of the property is wonderful! So clean and beautifully appointed. The unit was wonderful. So much space to spread out and really relax and enjoy!!

Very clean, high quality furniture, and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our week and can’t wait to come back again!

The view from the balcony was fantastic, it was enhanced by the table and chairs. We enjoyed many meals out there.

Everything was wonderful with exception of the AC not cooling the condo lower than 74° at night it was warm in the bedrooms that did not have fans. We would book again.

The condo was just as advertised! We had an amazing stay and would stay again. The beach and view were gorgeous and never overcrowded. The kids enjoyed both pools!

Location was great and pool and beach were not real crowded.

We loved our stay at BLU! had one tiny issue with a bathroom faucet but outside of that the place was super kid friendly and family friendly. From our 4th floor room it was approximately 2 minutes until your feet hit water. I don’t think ive ever stayed that close to the water.

Beautiful condo, very clean and spacious. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony, with a great view of the beach. Felt very secure with the property, which was also clean and well maintained.
Would definitely book here again!

A group of 4 ladies enjoyed the view of the ocean and the sound of the waves from the balcony, the pool, and sitting on the beach. Beach service was provided daily - consisting of 2 chairs and an umbrella. An additional set was $45/day. The condo was fairly clean. Well maintained except the ice maker still not working. Looks like that was reported as an issue at least twice previous to our stay. We felt so secure with the coded security gates and six digit door code until the last evening when we noticed a shopping bag from Alvins containing a shirt and visor was missing. I hate to say the only reasonable explanation is someone gained access to our condo. We did not give our door code to anyone. It could have been so much worse - there was no security chain or deadbolt on the door as extra security when inside the condo. I would suggest to the owner that they install one. And suggest to future guests to be on their guard. Vacasa said our code was unique, so we are stumped as to how this occurred. Loved the condo and low density location enough that we would consider returning, but would secure all valuables!!

Beautiful view and gorgeous white sand beach. The decor of condo was very tranquil and the property is meticulously maintained.

I loved everything about this home. The view of the beach was the first thing that caught my eye. I also loved listening to the waves at night, so tranquil. The home had everything we needed and is located in a nice and quiet area. I would definitely book this home again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The views were great and the pool was fun. We were disappointed with the lack of board games and fun things to utilize within the unit. It was pretty much just the furniture and some silverware in the unit. The beach was lined with third party companies supplying beach chairs that were somewhat of an eye sore. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
