Vince and Ann were good hosts. We enjoyed staying at this property, it was in a great area, and very accessible to what we hoped to do while visiting. Also, it has nice views of the local area. The amenities were pretty good, and we were able to fit six people reasonably in here; any more would be uncomfortable. A few points to mention: the terms to review and agree to before being able to book this were a lot to process with their separate portal system; unfortunately the place wasn't ideal for a relatively hot weekend in Seattle with no well-functioning air conditioning; there was ant activity when we arrived so we had to be very mindful of food and trash areas throughout; the oven didn't seem to fully close; and we were notified late that we would not be able to check-in until 30+ minutes later than agreed to (and we were accommodating), but when we requested a similar extension of time to checkout, we were not extended that same courtesy which seemed unfair. The checkout time is earlier than usual at 10am. Honestly, the place is good in a great location; wouldn't advise staying with more than 5 or 6 people.

This place is in a great location for accessing Seattle but is quite old and grungy, has an ant problem, stained carpets, and lots of stairs.

What an enjoyable stay!! Just like being at home! Beds really comfortable! A bathroom to go with each bedroom! Very clean. Kitchen was really nice and well stocked with dishes and pans. Just great in every way! We definitely recommend it to all and we will certainly choose this one for a future stay.

We stayed here while we visited for a Kraken game. Plenty within walk distance to do and eat. Owners had great communication and very thoughtful. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, our family of 8 were flying out of Seatac early in the morning and this was an easy overnight stay before flight. There are a lot of stairs so make sure everyone is your group can comfortablity go up and down stairs (my 89 year old grandma did fine, but other elderly might feel uncomfortable).

This home is in a great location with a fabulous master bedroom with a nice view. Nearby many things to see. Three floors and best to not have a large car with limited parking in Seattle.

Such a great house, neighborhood was perfect with a coffee house right around the corner, close to everything we wanted to do.

Enjoyed our stay , the area. My only concern it stated it could sleep 9 and I didn’t see where 9 people would sleep. 2 people in our group decided to stay at a hotel but I did original state 9 people

All in all, this is a good place to stay and the description is almost 100% accurate. Vince communicated well and answered all my questions promptly. This is a great location between Fremont/Ballard and Seattle/Lake Union with access to many local attractions. Queen Anne shops and restaurants are just up the hill. Having 2 parking spots in Seattle is fantastic. Note one is very steep and other is flat and adjacent to a drop off. If you use ride share, it is easiest to have someone meet the car on Etruria and direct them to the alley for pick up. Check in was easy and communication good, however, after being asked in November if we needed an early check in for our July stay (answer=yes,) we ultimately did not get it. This would have been fine if we were told from the beginning, or even the day before, but we were communicating back and forth up until regular check-in time, which was inconvenient. We appreciated an extra hour for check out, but also did not get confirmation of this until day of departure. In addition, the property description states “bag drop available for early check-in late check out.” Be aware this is NOT the case. I was given a company name with various locations where we pay to leave bags. I suggested to Vince he update the description and as of today, it hasn’t changed. We had 6 adult guests, which we thought a perfect number for this property. Beds were comfortable. Each bedroom had a bathroom as described. While each bathroom had one towel per person, we could have used a few extra. The kitchen is stocked with basics (and coffee!) Appliances are nice, although we didn’t cook. It is a bonus to have a washer/dryer. We ran out of paper towels and didn’t have enough dish rags/towels. The carpets were wet in most places when we checked in and did not dry completely during our stay. The living room area is small, but adjacent to larger kitchen area with table and island barstools for more seating. The Roku TV does not have local channels. We tried to add apps in order to log into our own accounts (such as Golf) but were unsuccessful (needed to enter a code.) I had some confusion regarding payment (VRBO fee charged upon booking and then rental fees charged by property management company closer to stay dates; I had completed required forms but kept getting emails that I needed to confirm more information for payments.) Vince was quick to answer and let me know all was well. 4.8/5 stars.

Our family stayed when in town for a wedding. The kids were super excited about their bedroom and we loved the location and proximity to our daughter’s house. This home is well kept and nicely decorated. We will stay again.

The front door didn’t open for us. Other than that we had a swell time.

Clean and in a nice neighborhood. Felt safe. The property owner happened to be there, doing some outside work, when we arrived. He was very nice and helpful. Communication with the property managers was fine and prompt up until check-in. After we checked we had some questions and problems with the house AC and portable AC not cooling and pilot light on fireplace generating heat. We messaged the property managers twice during our stay with questions about adjusting/fixing these and never heard back. We stayed two nights and had to sleep with windows and sliding doors open and use the two floor fans provided in the house. I sent a final, third message to the property managers the day after we arrived home about the issue and did not hear back. There was not a contact for the property owner (only the property managers) and I would have liked to have communicated with him as he was helpful on our arrival. The home is lovely, but if you are planning to stay while it’s hot out inquire if the AC is properly working.

The house is a good location. We felt safe enough to walk to dinner and places to grab a drink. The beds were very comfortable, which was a huge plus. We were extremely tired from camping out the two nights before. The beds really allowed too get the rest we needed and continue with our travels. Side note the complimentary earplugs were a nice touch. I would stay here again if in the area again. I would recommend this place. The house has multiple decks and great views of the neighborhood as well.

My stay was short, but it was great! The communication with the home owners was amazing. They responded with answers fast and really went the extra mile. The home was beautiful!

Vince & Ann have been really helpful, answering questions and concerns before the check-in date. The guidebook was helpful as well. The property is very clean and spacious. I would definitely book this property with Vince & Ann again when I am vacationing in Seattle.

Great location with a beautiful modern home with luxury finishes. Great view of the Ship Canal, which also provides a close and picturesque walk.

Great location just directionally hard to find the unit - but overall loved the stay and would recommend if looking for a larger place to stay near downtown!

The house was super nice and clean. Love how there were balconies in almost all of the rooms. Definitely would come back again!
