Good property, perfectly located for exploring Paris, 30 mins or less to the centre.

Below is our unfortunate experience with Adrien Namigohar/PARISFLAT, St. Denis.
- Upon arrival, the security codes provided to enter the building were incorrect
- Within bedding from the closet, we found a LIVE BED BUG
- Determining the flat was uninhabitable, we called the contact in the information binder multiple times, left a voicemail and messaged on VRBO; no reply
- Without options, booked into a hotel
- Next morning, Adrien called, accused us of not calling (time stamp shows we called 3x)
- We requested a refund: suite was uninhabitable
- Initially, he was unwilling to agree to any refund; his solution of another nearby suite came much too late
- Followed VRBO process: renter and proprietor negotiate refund (proprietor provides this, not VRBO)
- Continued to message with Adrien/WhatsApp to negotiate, as well as return the key we had accidentally took in our hurry to leave the flat
- Refund is unresolved: Adrien offered one night (not yet received), we asked for 4 nights
Overall, this has been extremely stressful and costly. Throughout our correspondence, Adrien was dismissive and accusatory: it was ‘just one little bug’, blamed for bringing in the pest, accused of leaving a mess (noted, dishes were washed/returned and recycling organized). His approach to the situation and attitude towards a highly transmissible pest calls into question how his other suites are managed. I’ve inferred Adrien will attempt to discredit my review. Buyer beware.

We visited in March, primarily to see France v Wales at the Stade de France, but also to spend some time sightseeing. The location was excellent from our perspective, walking distance to the stadium and very close to the RER station with just one stop to the Gare du Nord with regular trains. (ideal if you're arriving by Eurostar, but be aware trains are very busy if you're travelling into Paris at peak commuter time in the morning). There is also a Monop next to the station with fresh bread and croissants in the morning. There is another station 20 mins walk in the opposite direction giving more options to get into/out of the city.
The apartment is very secure on the 4th floor. Entry technique is a bit tricky – make sure you follow Adrien’s instructions precisely, but OK once you've mastered it. The apartment is very spacious with a large living area. The kitchen has all you need for a short break and the bedrooms are all a good size with wardrobe space and beds were fine. 2 bathrooms and 2 loos were very handy too. Although it feels a little unloved it was very clean and you can’t fault the facilities provided.
The views to central Paris and the Sacre Coeur from the balcony are great
Adrien was very helpful throughout and our overall experience was very positive.
