Everyone at Beach Realty is helpful and patient with all my questions. It would be nice to have a small table with chairs in the living room. It used to have one and we played many games on it. Our family loves to play games in the evenings.

Great however the furniture needs to be updated and the house needs to be cleaned better. The hot tub needs to go outside so that the sunroom can be used. It smells like a hotel pool and the odor is too strong to stay in the room. All the furniture is outdated and in somewhat poor condition but the location is great. You need to add a hose downstairs for cleaning off chairs and feet. There needs to be a better way to clean your feet off when coming off the beach.

Cottage was very nice with plenty of room to house our families. Easy for my mother in law to take elevator to and from floors. We appreciated that it had a well stocked kitchen and we could cook while we were there. Would definitely stay again in the future.

From booking, to staying and checking out, was easy and convenient. This was our first ever beach stay and it was better than we ever expected. Waking up to the sunrise, the sound of waves crashing on shore and the wildlife we encounter was truly amazing. The house was beautiful and very clean and every staff person I spoke to or texted was very kind and went above and beyond. I highly recommend Beach Realty!

We met at this house for a large family gathering for the holiday week. The house was perfectly located and the beach access was ideal. We had plenty of space and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils, pots and bowls. The management company was very easy to work with and we would work with them again.

We are a family of 4 and stayed at the Fly Boys for a last summer vaca before school starts. The house was fantastic, perfect location. Kids were able to go to the beach anytime they wanted. We had some very minor issues but the service team was super prompt and friendly. Unfortunately we had a tropical storm come in for a couple of days but we were able to keep ourselves entertained and cooked a lot of great food. Overall perfect for a week long break.

It was a wonderful week with most of my immediate family. The weather was great and we enjoyed the beach front. We treated ourselves to the comforts, lots of beach time, sunrises, training runs and bike rides, Jockey's Ridge, kayaking in the ocean, visit to Wright Memorial and Snow Bird ice cream. I was a week full of some awesome memories!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Fly Boys, there is plenty of space & great location! A few downsides, you can hear a lot of traffic noise, it needs to be updated, although it was clean & well equipped kitchen. There are few en-suites, creating multi people using one bathroom, especially on the main floor.

The whole family agreed this was the best vacation since we started coming to OBX 5 years ago. The house was perfect plenty of room inside and it was clean. Location was great for shopping and dining out. Our favorite was the view from the rocking chairs. It was gorgeous. Will definitely be staying there again in the future.

We did have a wonderful vacation! As for the house, our hot tub was unusable for a few days as it was dirty and we called to have it cleaned. When there to clean it it was determined that it needed a new part. He did come back and fix it but again it was mid week before we could get in it. The carpets had multiple stains. The top floor has no closet??? And they toilet up there doesn’t flush very well. And the house it’s self definitely needs some updates!

Our family week at the beach was a great experience. The house fully met our needs. We loved being near Jockey's Ridge dune. Watching the sunrises from the deck is a plus. The beds were the best of any beach house we have stayed in. The elevator helped when we arrived and when we left loading and unloading.

Early spring in the OBX
Seven of us shared 6 days on the Outer Banks at Fly Boys, a large beachfront home which could easily accommodate a larger group. The house was clean, neat and supplied for almost all needs. Arriving a hour before earliest normal check in, we called the manager and, after a quick check to assure all was ready, we were given access to the home. LOTS of deck space on different levels as well as outdoor spaces, all nicely appointed. Very comfortable home with just enough diversionary items (games. books, television, Bluetooth sound system, etc., to occupy all of us (21-75) on cooler or rainy days. Would recommend this home and the managers to anyone.

We enjoyed our NYE 2022 & 60th birthday weekend! We had all of the amenities we needed & we were thrilled to be able to enjoy the dune-top deck and beach as the weather was gorgeous!

We had a wonderful time at Fly Boys for a long weekend with family and friends. The house had plenty of room for all. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have seen in all of my years of renting beach houses. We had a few minor maintenance issues, which were taken care of very quickly. The property was clean and the location was fantastic. Great sunrises and sunsets from both sides of the house. Would definitely stay here again.

OBX - Fly Boys Is the Place to Stay
I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this was far and away my BEST experience. This includes my experience from the initial inquiry to check out. Both the owners and the management company were always responsive and answered all of my questions. Check in was simple, we received texts to keep us updated on check in and other reminders.
I would recommend this as an amazing property to use for friends and family. it is centrally located so it is easy to get to the many amazing and wonderful attractions, if you can pull yourself away from the beach. 5 STARS!!!

Perfect Location

Fly Boys was exactly as expected! The home was spotless on arrival and all the furnishings comfortable. But the best was the location, so close to the ocean the sound of the waves lulled is to sleep at night! We had a concern with the gas grill upon our arrival but it was addressed within a few hours! We were disappointed with the interior of the house. Although the furnishings were nice and some quite new, there were obviously known maintenance issues with the property (one master bedroom had no electricity and another had tape over several outlets indicating a known problem; one toilet seat was disintegrating; to name a few things ) and it needed to be cleaned more thoroughly (there were dust blobs hanging from the ceiling in one bedroom, coffee stains in the kitchen, the coffee maker was really dirty, etc.) The rental company responded to our third call about the electrical issues and sent someone out, but the problem returned.
The deck area was very nice and the beach access is fantastic. The location of the property is great and the house could be very nice with some TLC.
