The hosts Lorraine & Steve were lovely. They were available when we needed them and Steve brought fresh eggs for us on both days. The location and the view was fabulous. The Hot Tub was amazing!

Unfortunately the lodge is more like a caravan and quite dated. The twin beds are really only suitable for children. I am only 5ft 3in and struggled and felt all the springs in the mattress. There is no freezer compartment in the fridge so couldn't buy ice cubes or frozen food. There also wasn't a microwave which I really missed even though there was was room for one. I'm sure the lodge was clean but as it was quite dated didn't feel it. The oven wasn't working for us and couldn't be fixed so had to use the top oven. I think in future we would rather pay more and get something that was more modern and had a bit luxury. When we have stayed in other lodges there has been basic items in the cupboards, i.e. salt, pepper, vinegar, milk, bread, clingfilm, tinfoil, we have even had tea, coffee, butter, biscuits and cake in a couple of lodges. We still enjoyed the visit and the Hot Tub was great.

The setting was lovely. Lots of wildlife to see The owners were very friendly nothing was to much trouble for them The eggs they gave use were lovely The hot tub was brilliant

the location was amazing and the cabin was cosy. the hot tub was also amazing. overall we were really impressed.

for us personally just the shower and the sink in the shower room. the plug in the sink wouldn’t come out and we couldn’t get the big shower head working either. wasn’t a massive issue for us though as we only stayed a few days.
