Perfect 👌. Lovely landlady, cosy and clean room, parking as well as train station to Manchester, Leeds, York etc close by. Hollingworth Lake 3min walk, couldn't ask for more.

Chris was a very helpful host and responded very promptly to my messages. This accommodation doesn't have breakfast, but there are food options nearby so it wasn't a problem. I had a fish and chips dinner as well as a curry takeaway dinner and Chris provided a plate and cutlery. Being able to park on the drive was useful too as there are restrictions in the immediate vicinity. A walk around the lake is worth doing to get some exercise.!

Brilliant host

Clean room, kettle, cups and cutlery provided in the room, there was parking, easy enough to find.

The hard bed. The tiny bathroom with it's tiny shower.

This lovely guest house is everything you would hope for, and more. Run by a lovely lady, it is in a quite exceptional location and offers exceptionally clean and comfortable accommodation at an absolute bargain price. Less than half that of even a budget hotel.
