Greeting upon arrival was so friendly...staff were so helpful

We were greeted by Ann who was a lovely person. She was very Friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely, everything we needed was there. The food is very keenly priced and was absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. Plenty of seating to enjoy a comfortable relaxation time. All over a brilliant stay and will definitely be going back.

There was nothing I didn't like. Couldn't find a single fault.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. No road noise near the property. Spacious room. Greenway started near the hotel.

Food was quite expensive in the hotel restaurant and there was a mistake with our order. Rathkeal is quite a rundown town

Breakfast was ok and lunch available at the hotel restaurant was really good. Really nice to stay with pets.

Great location. Close to where we wanted to spend time. Bathrooms were nice.

Poor staffing. No one around to ask questions pre booking. Mattresses were old and not comfortable. Pillows poor quality. Guests want a good night's sleep and though renovations are in the works, the basics should not be overlooked. No breakfast because staff did not show up. Other customer's dog was allowed to run through lobby. Huge stain on ceiling tile in hallway outside room. Overall, the hotel looked like it is not well taken care of. Lobby looks inviting, but room details need upgraded.

Breakfast didnt start till 8am. We had to leave at 07:30. I was told our rate didnt incl Breakfast anyway which surprised me. But they did give us a free take away coffee which was nice.

Very nice hotel, professional and welcoming staff, our room was very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. It was very convenient that hotel's restaurant was open all the day, we had a late lunch and breakfast there, food was tasty and served quickly. We really liked the garden and all the hotel's facilities. This is an excellent value for money, we were fully satisfied with our stay.

The bedroom is really a good size, the TV in the room is great too, the mirror in the bathroom is really nice.

The locks was fixed with one tape.

The check-in process took too long, the room wasn't made up, even though we got there on the evening. The bar closed early.

Damp smell in room 112. No heating in room. No staff on reception at check-in (2.30pm) or check out (8am)

The staff at reception were lovely, the bathroom was spotless. The bed was comfy. Water and tea selection provided and plenty of towels and PowerPoints.

The noise levels were unacceptable, got no sleep at all, music blaring out from room above and loud shouting til 4am, curtain rail broken and 1window with no curtain. No hairdryer. We didn't stay for food. Nothing at all in the town. So disappointed.

Very warm welcome, rooms very clean and warm,bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly nothing was a problem. We also had a Carvery which was excellent would most definitely stay again
