A GEM of a place, the Grandness of it all! The interaction with the horses. The pool area. The entire experience was beyond. The Management team & staff are very accommodating as a family-run unit. We will be back to enjoy the other rooms. The meals were well prepared and delicious with a great variety of additional farm-baked choices.

The most beautiful place to stay between Cape Town and Johannesburg. The ranch has everything you could ask for. From the beautiful rooms, amazing staff, exquisite grounds and wonderful food, Big Sky Ranch is a must visit.

To be honest , I was in room no 4 , I would prefer a more private bathroom , especially toilet closed off , far to open ..and as they mentioned a shower , hard to get in and out of bath with a knee issue

We stopped overnight at Big Sky Ranch on our first family road trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town. Although it was just for a night, it was most certainly a memorable stay, in a gorgeous homely setting, and ranks amongst the favourites of our trip for my kids because of the resident dogs, Gorgeous and Eddie. The short stay exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back.

We didn't get to taste the Karoo lamb dinner but overall the whole experience was perfect.

Absolutely everything. A must to visit if you love to relax in comfort, peace and tranquility. This Ranch is stunningly beautiful with added advantages. A must to go and a return for certain.

As you enter the property you are welcomed by the most pristine oasis with an exceptional horse stable. I loved that dogs are able to roam free and have fun. The staff were phenomenal and so kind and accommodating.

Everything was exceptional! The staff members went out of their way to give us a tour and to make our stay as memorable as possible.

The property is gorgeous. Well maintained, beautifully landscaped, exquisitely decorated. Someone with a very high level of taste has been allowed loose on every part of this venue, and it shows.

Nothing. One guest had a bit of an over-eager Labrador at dinner that we had to manage with our two Poms but that is literally the only negative thing I can think of.

Water pressure in bathroom room. Could have more luxurious towels and a top sheet.

Absolutely gorgeous property and perfect stay, especially if you like a personal touch to everything. The chef made the most incredible breakfast and dinner and all staff were very friendly.
